Whoever came up with the idea in the office... here, take this candy! I think I have never been that hyped about any other AW patch before, or maybe even about the game itself. :D AW is definitely moving in right direction, to become something different, not just modern alternative for WoT. As you said, I really hope they are going to put all the energy into that game mode at the moment. Good sound effects are really needed here, specially for that Airstrike. Let's make it something EPIC, something that you can hear from the distance and you know hell is going to break loose. So yeah, game is starting to look good with all the loot and wild card action and sand storm, love it. Little things added together = win. There is still a lot of work to do, with the game overall (hate physics, specially ramming), but it is getting there. (Y)

Well, bad time to come back, there's a very annoying glitch as of now, 25% of the time your shells will have "no effect". Either AP, HEAT or ATGM. The glitch exists even if you did damage to enemy, "no affect", "critical hit". Excuse me what? The hotfix patch they released few days back didn't address this issue and half the players commented about this.

Jeno Snetrem Hope so, the glitch is funny and annoying at the same time, hit a tank as soon as your allies killed it, "no effect" (No shit). Hit enemy at high ping? "No effect", then did damage or critical hit. Hit enemy while they are moving at high speed, "no effect".

I'd suggest removing War Thunder. Gaijin Management fucked up big time, and the game has obvious bias that the devs refuse to fix. I loved War Thunder, but after the stunt they pulled - I got rid of it immediately and freed up several gigs of storage in the process.

WIC was a damn good game, too ambitious for this mode to become that game however. Mention flying helo's and all the WOT players will scatter since its not modern WOT. the wildcards sounds like an excellent idea though for battlefield, i mean why can't we have that for Battlefield (Battlefield 1 elite class pickup and Battlefield 4's weapon pickup is just not the same) and having ppl secure an area to actually gain them is definitely a much better idea than the killstreak system

Good old AW, while removing the frustration of dying randomly so you have to play another tank or if you team fails once then it's over. Respawning is such a good thing to implement in the game, I am definitely downloading this game again!

It looks awesome. They should add in A-10s as a wildcard thing. It wouldn't be like the B-2s just carpet bombing a small area as it passes over. The A-10s would cover a much wider area where they would circle around once looking for enemy tanks to kill. If you are spotted in the area by one of the A-10s it will turn and kill you unless you can get out of the area or hide in-between buildings where the A-10s can't get a shot. What this wildcard would do, is force the enemy out of an area for a short while, giving your team a chance to switch from being the attackers trying to take a defended capture point, to being the defenders of that capture point when the A-10s leave the area and the enemy is able to come back. It would be great for when the enemy is really well dug in, and camping at a capture point you want to take.

Congradulations to Obsidian Entertainment here. They absolutely needed a big new unique feature like this to not just fade into obscurity while new content is patched in. It's a real, legitimate reason to play Armored Warfare over their competitors. It's like a combination of WoT and Battlefield, which is something I never realised I wanted before now. Only way they could improve it is by letting players connect with a roster of say 3-5 tanks, which they can switch between as the battle progresses (Presuming they are the same tier).

SATCOM train. Moves in predictable path, so you can set up interception points, but at the same time only ATV and LTs can keep up, so you need them to capture it, but MBTs and others to keep control of it.

The United States military uses the system of Blue to represent friendly forces and Red for enemy. NATO likely does the same thing. Don't know about Russia/former Communist Bloc. Yellow is unknown force and Green is neutral.

Akrilloth I've been playing WoT since mid-2013, and I still don't have a tier 10 (though to be honest, I haven't played much this year). WG kept telling us they'd implement garage battles at some point, which Ramapge basically was. But I do agree. If they implemented garage battles properly, we could see massive tier 2 free-for-alls on Mittengard, or Province. But no, we had flags to capture. I fucking hate capture objectives in vehicular combat games

Rampage was a bit too unconventional though, so I can understand why WG thought that it may not work. What Obsidian is doing here is basically battlefield conquest with dynamic kill streak objects, Rampage was a different with its multi teams.

AW is based in the future though so i think it fits very good. Btw 60 or 70 years sounds ridiculous, Norway has them scheduled for delivery in 2018 and the US already got them in service. Also Lockheed Martin said the F35B version is now combat ready in july 2015.

The F-35A has been in initial operational capability with the USAF since August 2nd, 2016 (with the Block 3i software. The fully combat coded Block 3F will be introduced very soon).

Yes, you can do that now.. it drastically improved the abilities of those Russian floating tanks. BMP / BMD lines. Even more so if you have the commander that reduces ATGM reloads.

Very nice! No matter how good WoT, WoWS, Warthunder and similar feel as games I find eventually dropping into the same, relatively low variety format of game again and again eventually wears thin. Bigger maps, re-spawns and multiple dynamic objectives all add to the variety in which I can approach a match, and keeps the mode more interesting longer. Very excited for this one.

... God damn it. See, this is my problem with armored warfare. The setting and mechanics are so bland but they keep doing things that are just really fucking smart ideas. I mean look at this, I get to respawn and play a continuous game rather than run around for 6 minutes until I die and have to queue up again. There's players to fight against and also AI-controlled obstacles for some secondary PvE and maybe a purpose to HE ammunition other than cherry tapping low-health tanks or obliterating weakly armored ones. I want to see all of this in world of tanks, or any of Wargaming's other products, but we never will because they are absolutely, obstinately against anything other than PvP, to the point that they've flatly shot down expanding the bot mode in WoWS despite people enjoying it and wanting more from it. Nothing of what's being done in Armored Warfare is truly revolutionary, it's just basic good design and wargaming is fundamentally opposed to it. They don't want players to have fun, they want to create a money trap cash shop for people to sink time in.

It's the monopoly problem, because they don't really have any competition, they don't give a blistering shit about us or our opinions. Might also be because the current WoT is optimized for Russian potatoes, so there isn't really any room for development... I sorta wish they made a separate server/game mode for people with adequate computers, so we don't have to play on maps with 2004 modeling... I mean, everything looks like what some kid could make if he had a elevate ground tool in a map editor... But again, when they don't listen...

+Rick Tapio well they give you all the tanks but not unlimited credits, so you still have to grind creds and xp to unlock and buy the upgrades but they give you 1500% credit and xp boost so you earn like 3 mil a match so its easy

The first idea that comes to mind for a Wild Card is CAS (Close Air Support). Maybe have there be a randomization in which form of support you get. It would be awesome to designate a target for an Apache overhead to rain down rockets, or maybe order an A-10 to do a strafing run down a corridor. The Apache could stay until destroyed by missiles, and the A-10 could be kept to only one strafing run. Heck, they could even throw an AC-130 into the mix, which would be freaking epic.

Okay, that looks amazing. I really cannot wait till I can get a chance to try it out. Might be a while as I am at college away from my gaming computer, but I am really excited now! I was pretty much a strict PvE person in AW for the reasons Jingles laid out. I have spent hundreds of dollars on WoT and have three tier Xs and multiple tier IXs. While I doubt I will ever drop WoT, this game mode looks like it has a lot of potential.

This looks awesome. It will take me from straight pve (player vs enviroment). It is 15 vs 15 pve (player verses everything). The fact that it is objective based not "kill all enemy"(pvp) is what is drawing me. Can't wait to play it.

Recently just coming back to Armored Warfare and see what's new. Found out about Global Ops and wanted to find out more of what it is. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to it. It's like a dynamic conquest mode with unexpected cache drops.
