After 3 weeks of using Hero from Armour Detail Supply, I am happy to say that this mostly lives up to the pre release talk and it is better than other products I've used, especially for springtime pollen. Will it live up to one of the best rinseless washes for 2024? Time will tell, but so far, the claims from ADS have been backed up for me. When I first started testing, it seemed that it didn't clean nearly as well as others, but I found that changing the amount of water squeezed from the sponge really affected the results. For transparency purposes, Hero was purchased by me, and everything you see in the video are my experiences.

Whenever you have time check out the videos on the TruSpray system. Created by a Commercial Window Tint installer. His system is used by auto window tinters and auto detailers for rinseless washing. I personally use his device on my 3 gallon DetailKeg. The catch is I don’t have to infuse air from a compressor 👀

Very interesting and I have some questions. I'll have to contact them. This looks like a great way to avoid buying the little compressors to continually air up a keg, and it would allow one to use a full 5 gallons of water or wash solution.

I’m glad you’re getting more subs my guy! Thanks for putting out these videos for those who don’t have a garage. Much respect. It’s a lot of hard work editing so to have you put out content like this is dope. I just bought Feynlab Rinseless v3 off Amazon! They finally have it available. Hope you get that one soon to test!

Wolfgang Uber is the easiest to use in direct sun for me here in Florida. 2nd to Hero. Koch RRW dries quick as does DIY’s rinse less, which I was little disappointed in how quick they dry. Even when doing one panel at a time. I’d say ONR V5 was easier to use then DIY and RRW. That’s just my experience though. I love rinse less regardless.

What’s your experience with these products in high humidity and heat? I found Hero left my glass very streaky on a day like that. First time I had an issue with any of these rinse-less products. The other thing I noticed was after a rain shower. Previously I was surprised by how little water spotting I was getting after using KCX RRW or ECH2O. After washing with Hero, the spotting was very noticeable after the rain. I find it remarkable that ECH2O has been around for ages, and these newer products designed specifically for rinse-less, are not that much better (IMO). Maybe it’s just that my car is coated, and never gets totally filthy.
@TheOutdoorDetailer
@TheOutdoorDetailer 3 ай бұрын
The testing with those in the videos were done in the heat. I have not had any issues with hero like you describe, and in fact wish it had more protection or slickness. It's slick on the sponge, but others are better. The other issue for me is how quickly the scent disappears and how quickly the product starts smelling bad from dirty water. Others do not do it that quickly.
@waterhose4130
@waterhose4130 3 ай бұрын
@@TheOutdoorDetailer I’m thinking it was the high humidity. I just could not get the windows to flash off. I used my bottle of 200:1 ECH2O to clean them up. Smells like strawberry to me. The smell of Feynlab is my favorite.

@@TheOutdoorDetailer so to follow up, I used it again. The super high humidity must have been the issue. It was hot, but low humidity. No chasing streaks, and I was in the sun.

Which have you found to be the best Waterless wash that you have used?
@TheOutdoorDetailer
@TheOutdoorDetailer 5 ай бұрын
Honestly I think it depends on what I'm trying to do. Absolute would be my #1 because of surface feel, cleaning power with salt in the winter, and the no lasting protection left. (It also takes toppers well) Hero is great if you are going to apply a topper after. If an uncoated car and no toppers used, the CARPRO Ech2o or the new Gyeon is a good choice. If I'm washing a coated car or prior to polish, I'm grabbing the DIY detail or the Feynlab, and playing with the dilution. It really build down to what I'm looking to do at that time because if I'm applying a topper or drying aid, I don't want it reacting with the CARPRO and streaking. I hope this helps a little bit.

How does Hero compare to Absolute? What is your favorite rinseless thus far?
@TheOutdoorDetailer
@TheOutdoorDetailer 5 ай бұрын
Honestly they're two completely different products. I love Absolute just because of how it works on winter salt where I am. Hero is great so far in warm weather where I am but will be testing in another 6 months with salt.

Do you prefer the sponge or the double flip microfiber? Any differences you see or notice?
@TheOutdoorDetailer
@TheOutdoorDetailer 5 ай бұрын
On that pollen, give me the double flip towels any day of the week. On normal road film it's a toss up. The nice thing about double flips or any plush towel in general is the ability to mix up a bucket and use it for a week or more, until you run out of wash solution.

If you don't mind sharing, what brands can you get where you are? I think it would be a good idea to produce a video showing products that can be bought in the EU. I have somewhere around 12-15 different rinseless products currently but want to focus on the ones people are really interested in, or perhaps should give a try.

what keg/wash sprayer are u using?
@TheOutdoorDetailer
@TheOutdoorDetailer 5 ай бұрын
I built it myself using an old ball lock keg from home brewing. (they can be found on marketplace usually for 25 bucks or less) I then added a schrader valve to the lid for filling with air, and a poly flexzilla air hose to a connector, then a TeeJet sprayer on the end with the appropriate nozzle. I want to say the entire setup ran me about $150 at most, which is more than an IK sprayer, but the keg also is stainless steel and will hold more product and pressure. If there is enough interest I can do a video on the parts needed and how to put one together.

Uber has worked really well for me lately. I've also used about every rinseless, and hero is arriving in a few days I'm looking forward to it. With uber I wash at the 256 ratio, and I either dry lightly as I go (like roof, windshield and door windows first) with a dry me a river type towel used like a chamois style, then I use uber in a spray bottle at the 3 ounce/gallon quick detail ratio as a drying aid. Works great, slick n streak free fast. All weather n sun dependent, sometimes I can wash the whole car before full evaporation and I'll drying aid all at once.

@TheOutdoorDetailer try the Uber at the 3 oz per gallon ratio - as a spray detailer I've been loving that lately. I'm always experimenting too and I'm mixing equal parts absolute and uber as my rinseless and its really slick, so in my 3 gallon bucket I do just shy of an ounce each. Try it
