ADS products are top tier and fairly priced in North America. Their whole lineup is solid and the people that created them are detailers. If you look at the products on their main website, they actually list their revisions and what changed with the product. I’ve never seen another company do that before. It shows that they are constantly improving and striving to be better. I love their sprayers, yours was just defective. And their new rinse less wash I think is one of the best ones on the market, called Hero. Easily better that N914 or ONR.

Another great video of a new brand. My personal favourite detail spray so far is the quick detailer from detail bug. Super easy to apply, works well on all surfaces inside and out and smells great to boot. I rate a lot of their range and its good value to boot. Would be good to see you look at some of their stuff some day. That combined with Bilt Hamber makes up 99% of my collection.

I like their waterless wash Adapt even more. All of their products I have tried are solid. I think Amplify is slicker than Gyeon Ceramic Detailer for sure and applies a bit more nicely. The Gyeon is more hydrophobic though.

Nice! I think that many brands have their logos small while the product name is larger. Armour has a distinctive logo that is easily recognizable and the product name has a correct lettering size. Unfortunately, I can't see the correct green color like you all do because of my protanopia (colorblindness spectrum) but the colors they have chosen set them apart from many other brands.

It is one of the more interesting new companies in America that I want to check out. I think there's some pretty good competition though. Realistically, I've met people that only use Meguire's consumer line that have stunning cars. I think Adams and Jay Leno have some pretty solid offerings as well. I've been using Carpro just because of a cost of effectiveness. As my Carpro supply is dwindlinh I'm looking to order some some Armour Detail products or Shine Supply. The NV line looks solid but if we don't have to ship things around the globe needlessly that seems optimal.
@ForensicDetailing
@ForensicDetailing 28 күн бұрын
Why would you use Jay Leno car wash products? It's like there is no alarm bell? Don't you want to buy chems from a brand with like expertise in car care Formulating? Brands like 3d car care I find interesting but if I explored the US market properly I would find formulator with good quality bulk prices. You guys seem prepared to literally pay anything.
@jinxtacy

@@ForensicDetailing I think you have to rewind the clock back a bit to the days of Black Magic, Blue Coral, Turtle Wax, Rain X, Mother's maybe, and then Meguire's Gold Class, NXT had been phased out, Ultimate Wash and Wax, and Meguiar's Deep Crystal had been bumped off a lot of the shelves for Rain-X or the first I saw Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss. Jay Leno has a massive collection of cars that seem to be well-kept and has been a liked member of the car community for decades. While I agree that that doesn't make him qualified to get into the chemistry or even the business, you can see the incentive to be invested especially when you have a team working to keep your collection up to snuff mechanically as well. Early on they had a relationship with B&B Blending to take formulations to scale, and in the past had a small blending company for abrasives. They've also worked with the chemical and materials engineering lab at Cal Poly Pomona to create some of the formulas. $10 for 16 oz of a consumer-grade product that seemed like Adam's blue shampoo with an inferior cherry smell that you could buy seemed like a good option in a pinch that clean rinses and I have no complaints other than the smell. It's okay for a consumer product for the person that might wash their car every 8-12 weeks. I did a C8 for a friend impromptu and just ran to Walmart and grabbed it. Now we have Chemical Guys, some places have Adams, maybe Griots (tried it once and didn't care for it), Meguires, but still IMO the Leno's vehicle wash stacks up fine to any of the consumer-grade stuff. It's just pricey as is most consumer-grade quantities. He also had the influence to get his products valuable shelf facings in Texas when Adam's couldn't get a single facing. If you give me a choice between Adam's and JLG for car soap on a shelf I'd go Adam's purely for smell, but swap the scents and I'd go the other way. It's a good product, just not great value like most 16 oz products, but putting a $40 gallow that takes up more shelf space in a retail marketplace next to $5-13 half-gallon products probably won't net a lot of sales for the retailer with real normal consumers. Typically don't like to offer consumers stuff that they have to mix since instructions are hard here. The more time goes by, the more ingenious I find Meguire's consumer lines to be.

The problem with New detailing brands from the US is that the import taxes kill the competitive pricing. If our governments negotiated less of a tax embargo, then these brands would thrive way better. The cost of filling a container is very expensive too, so I reckon Armour have probably cut prices just to get it over here. Also, when a new brand goes viral like Armour have done then all the best products from their range goes out of stock and takes weeks sometimes months to replenish leaving you looking elsewhere. I'm desperate to try Hero but In2detailing haven't got it stocked, lots of good reviews about it being smear free and a stronger clean then P&S Absolute. It also leaves a nice slick ish layer but not a coating that will impead with LSPs. The waterless wash you mentioned is different to their rinseless wash mentioned above, the waterless wash is to be used in small areas cleaning up spots of dirt rather than the whole car with Hero. I'm looking forward to getting my mitts on Hero. Come on Armour and In2detailing!

My only gripe is I wish it was in a 1 litre bottle or 32 Jibber Jabbers over there. I hurl this stuff on in great quantities. Also please please can you get In2detailing to stock those amazing rinseless wash pouches that are reverseable / turn inside out. I think they are from Autofiber? Specifically for rinseless washes, they would be something I really want to use.

clogging coatings is a bit of a buzzword imo. if you put a film forming product on top of a coating it forms a film (doh). This film has surface characteristics which are not the same as the underlying ceramic coating. so whats the difference. its just fencing with words.

Waterless Wash doesn't mean it needs to be diluted before you use it. It just means you don't need water to use it. What you are thinking of would be something like a "concentrated" formula. Where you dilute it yourself prior to use.
@ForensicDetailing
@ForensicDetailing 2 ай бұрын
It does not matter what it means. If you want to pay 19 pounds for a bottle of this please do. But the value exchange is not tipped in your favour. Your paying a huge amount of chemical cost to clean a car.
@9fiveb180
@9fiveb180 2 ай бұрын
@@ForensicDetailing Clearly it does matter. Otherwise you wouldn't have felt compelled to say anything, or have an opinion about any of the products in your comparison videos. You would do well to do some research on the products and brands who produce them beforehand, instead of making initial disclaimers to the arbitrary nature of your "logic" behind your presuppositions, assumptions, opinions and beliefs. It's probably the easiest thing one can do, to help educate themselves about the basics that underpin one's progression throughout their development, from a cognitive functions perspective. Most of us learn the "importance of words, and the meaning behind them" when we're in primary school. Another measure of intelligence is in one's ability to hear feedback from others, and when presented with correct information that contradicts, or disproves the flawed logic behind one's opinion, where willful ignorance and misinformation has contributed to their inability to admit when they are wrong. I hope you can learn from this, and grow as a person and content creator. You owe it to yourself and your subscribers to provide useful content, not excuses for the opposite.

@@ForensicDetailing Have you though? Because they're basically all different mixtures of surfactants in a low viscosity carrier fluid that surround contaminants and reduce the particulates tendency to leave behind surface abrasions, without the use of the universal solvent that we all know as "water." It seems odd that you refer to that being an "American" brand. Like "It's not worth anyone's time or money." Yet you contradict yourself and oscillate back and forth. Using backwards logic and reasoning to avoid broadening your perspective and learning from your comparisons. Are you able to laugh at your own mistakes, or has your ego and pride been running the show for so long that there's no hope for your edification? Don't let your insecurities and presuppositions cap your potential, buddy. You can do it! I believe in you😀

You’ve 100% got a defective trigger. I’ve gone through about a dozen (or more) of their 16oz bottles, and all have been sealed perfectly. This may be my red-white-and-blue blood talking, but speaking for myself, I’m much more inclined to support a smaller brand that invests its profit in product production and development rather than allocating significant amounts to marketing. No doubt CarPro, Gyeon, etc. are all good (I do use some of their products), but I tend to cringe each time I reach for them. Nevertheless, I do understand the criticism of the branding. One point about their product Adapt: You’re absolutely right that diluting something like N-914 is substantially more cost effective; that said though, Adapt has fantastic lubrication and provides a surprising amount of protection for what it is. When bought in a gallon size in the US, the cost becomes much more reasonable as well.
