Installing a Single Armrest on our 2018+ Suzuki Jimny JB74 model.

The installation shown was performed on an RHD (right-hand drive) Jimny, but an LHD (left-hand drive) version of the Single Armrest is also available. The installation will be the same, albeit on the other seat!

Anyone else have trouble getting the trim collar to stay in position once the arm rest is fully installed? Mine seems to pop out of place regularly

It depends how you are folding the seats, but it is probably better without the Arm Rest. However, the Armrest unit can be removed by undoing the grub screw and sliding it off the seat, so you could always to this and store it under the seat when camping in the car. I hope that helps

For those jimnys having side seat airbags, what's the solution?

The Jimny shown in this video has seat air bags - these do not interfere with the armrest installation!

Will this work with a canvas seat cover?

You would need to make a hole in the side of the cover (just like the hole you have to make in the side of the seat fabric), but otherwise I can't see why it wouldn't work

To the extent of my knowledge there isn't, sorry. With this Armrest you can still use the cup holders below for everything except super large cups or flasks. I hope that helps
