I noticed you still use OP during deadly calm. Wouldn't it be better to just stay in zerker stance and do MS-double slam-MS since rage isn't an issue? I feel like slam just hits so much harder than OP

Does Ignite double dip with DoT modifiers? That’s the only reason I can think a lock would give Dark Intent to a fire mage. Though, even then, I’m pretty certain it provides more dps to a spriest.

Fire mages have more crit than spriests so it's just going to proc DI more often if it's put on a mage. We have combust, pyro dot, living bomb and ignite and prio crit above all other secondary stats. Not to mention fire mages do the most dps so they are just going to scale better with damage buffs.

@@BranoneMCSG ignite does not crit, and combustion has an 8% uptime. So no, all mages have is pyro dot and LB to proc it. Shadow priests have MF, SWP, VT, and DP. My priest gives our lock 90% plus uptime, while I’ve yet to see that with the mages in our group. Hunters even provide better uptime than our mages currently

@@omarlozano9374 You misunderstood my point. Fire mages do a shit load of damage with their dots. They are by far the best DPS this expansion. Therefore they benefit the most from the increase to haste and periodic damage. The uptime matters too of course, but it procs often enough from our dots to justify having it on fire mages. My mage has 33% crit atm so I'm critting from every third pyro and LB dot. I get 80-90% uptime depending on the boss. Even higher on trash due to dot spreading from impact.

It's kind of the reality of hardcore raiding. I'm pretty sure retail Liquid is a very rare exception to the rule of abusive raid leaders.

I do have to say, i wrote that comment before watching the full vid, he doesn't seem too harsh to be honest. Not chill for sure, arguably a bit disrespectful but very far from anything crazy.

he change to batlestance to overpower, then switch berserk to use other main abilities

u battle stance to use battle stance abilities, otherwise u stay in berserker stance for maximum damage

Based on what research I’ve done slam is supposed to be your filler over HS. But I noticed that you never used slam. Is slam not as good in your opinion or is there something else going on. I also noticed that despite you spamming HS you didn’t use Inner Rage, is there a reason for that? Great content as always, love learning from your videos!

yeah i use slam as a filler. the weakaura doesnt show the cast but you can see the cast bar
