This happened to me! I had about 10 minutes extra and the lady pretty much insisted I open a savings account, which would just take a second and only take moving the funds. Next thing I know I'm whisked off to an office in the back and watching the day fly by.

This is weird. I've never had a credit card application take longer than 60 seconds on a website. Usually I'm approved straight away, or occasionally after a short phone call.

In the UK most current accounts have a £250-£300 daily maximum withdrawal limit at ATMs. He needed £400.....he had to go in.
