10:22 I figured this out when I was working my riser. Doing it like Devon does it just doesn't help me and it hurts my wrist after a workout. Getting my wrist high and then keeping it static while lifting works for me too.

5:20 - Mike asked why someone may practice with the thumb joined with the fingers. I think one reason--and this is why I do it--is that if there is a nerve impingement in the base of the thumb or somewhere locally when you practice with the thumb opposed, it creates discomfort that is alleviated by aligning the thumb with the fingers.

Great video, when you finish competing you are a natural for coaching!! Very sensible advise about why you train in the positions you do. I would argue about the riser motion, because you have the strength to establish your riser against a strong (ER) opponent, that someone without your strength/experience probably doesn’t possess. 10/10 great info!!!

some good tips here mike, i was thinking if you want to beat Levan, maker sure Corry west, trains with you, and you have to pull his arm from the pin pad all the way and pin his arm, once you can do this which is going be hard as shit, but i know you can do it, then you might be able to beat Levan
