This man replied to literally every single comment I scrolled through... That is some good hustle right there. I haven't pulled since elementary school lunch room, but I just got armbets about a month ago and I'm looking to dip my pronators in the water, and I've loved all three of these videos as they're great for beginners like myself to grasp. Wish you were in Tennessee. Best of luck in your 2021 season bud!

5:20 - Mike asked why someone may practice with the thumb joined with the fingers. I think one reason--and this is why I do it--is that if there is a nerve impingement in the base of the thumb or somewhere locally when you practice with the thumb opposed, it creates discomfort that is alleviated by aligning the thumb with the fingers.

Great video, when you finish competing you are a natural for coaching!! Very sensible advise about why you train in the positions you do. I would argue about the riser motion, because you have the strength to establish your riser against a strong (ER) opponent, that someone without your strength/experience probably doesn’t possess. 10/10 great info!!!
