I don't find resistance bands to be that good. A pulley machine is MUCH better. Resistance bands don't help so much off the start and don't feel much like a real arm wrestle unlike cable machines do. There is no club in my state, nearest club is a 2 hour plane trip away. I train with a person about once every month or 2. I train nearly every day with cable machines but against real people is always the best. I have only trained once with someone who knew what they were doing. I had a middle weight guy come visit who has won the last 2 nationals. I beat him 3-0 with out really arm wrestling anyone before but I am a super heavy so not really fair. I would love to train in a club but it's just not possible for me. There are no arm wrestlers in my state so when I find people to train with they typically stop training after one session as they can't deal with the initial pain you get when you start training. Also I am 130kg and typically people I train with come from a strength background, think they will do well then get turned off when I hold them at the middle of the table with 20% of my strength. I have a friend who is 150kg, curls 40kg dumbells and shoulder pressed 60kg dumbells for 10 reps and I beat him like he is a child. My friends are just like, this is dumb, you are just cheating, there is no way you can actually beat him not understanding arm wrestling at all.

I could give you some resistance, my friend is 120kg and I can plough through him now easily, I am only 78kg tho

@@AW-Luke yeah there are a lot of heavy guys who are useless. I beat the national champ here when he was 81kg and it was easy.
