Floating and building a shelf, already not 2 minutes in and that's the best advice I've ever heard in my life for hooking. I've arm wrestled for a few years and I had a huge problem with shutting down people who top roll with containment but If they were golden at top rolling they would literally back pressure and roll open my fingers. It's like putting someone's hammer curl into your fingers, and this is awesome guys because your wrist at least to me would be stronger than your fingers.

I used to pull with my frame fully supinated but I had to stop because of shoulder and elbow issues. Thanks Justin for confirming that how I cup over someone is far superior than throwing your frame on someone.

Do you think building up your shoulder strength is important for driving sideways and keeping that angle?

Do you think guys with smaller hands can still be competitive in arm wrestling at the lower weight classes? Do you find a certain technique to be more benefit in those circumstances (toproll vs hook vs other options?)
@RDS_Armwrestling7 күн бұрын
The answer I see a lot to this is yes, just focus on getting the hand and wrist as strong as you can, there are plenty of successful armwrestlers in lighter classes that have smaller hands, and the reason they're successful is because they're strong and don't worry about hand size. Yes, bigger hands are an advantage, but they're not the only thing that makes a good armwrestler. You CAN also work the muscles of the hand to grow them, to make your hand more awkward for your opponent. Grip training, thumb training, all that stuff.

Of course. Look at Rino's hands, comically small next to his opponents, and he's the champ now.

Incredible content! I've really learned a lot from these technique videos. It would be great if you could cover what to do if the other guy is faster, i.e. hits first, like how to bring it back if you're strong enough to stop the hit
