@@andriajakhveladze1632 Yeah WAF somehow on KZbin declared their livestreams as content for children which doesn't let me save the livestreams to watch later. They also disabled the live chat which makes no sense to me. They have top talent competing at these events but they absolutely suck at marketing and promoting armwrestling properly and don't know how to grow a sport. What they really should do after the livestreams finished is to upload videos of each weight class and cut out all the tedious breaks, setups and all the other boring crap nobody wants to see and everyone skips through anyways. Nobody wants to see 4 hour of setup and breaks in between. People wanna see the start and the end of each match and that's it. In a 5 hour WAF livestream there's only like 1 hour of actual armwrestling. WAF has absolutely zero sense of presenting armwrestling in a cool, interesting way for new fans. Only the hardcore armwrestling fans watch WAF and EAF.

Nice hindsight Minde & good luck for WAF! I've actually started to put more focus on the technique that I'm the weakest at (hook). That way, if I get stronger in all of them through time, at least the "weakest link" catches back up with the rest of the triangle! Let's see if I'm right about it with time :p

i started focus on RCR rise cup roll // for my example lets say my toproll is 90 flop press 70 hook maybe 50 - because it's the least healthy and not feeling good while doing it

How do you train your wrist?spesifically how to strengthen the ring finger and pinkie finger for good containment?

Table practice is the most important. Just hold some weaker guy for as long as you can :)

I lived in Copenhagen and actually trained with you in the club for a few months back in 2020 before everything was closed due to covid. About 1 year ago i got injured and I now have ulnar nerve damage and carpal tunnel in my wrist. I cant use pronation and supination without pain. I was wondering if you have advice on training and what style of armwrestling I can do, with this injury in mind. I am 178cm 65 kg, so a lightweight. I mainly hook since I can still cup without issues, but I dont use much supination. The closest thing I can get to outside pulling is to use rising and backpressure while going sideways, without pronation.

I would try to fix the injury first :) but I'm the mean time, any kind of Armwrestling is good :) keep moving

Heal the injury and stop armwrestling all together . supination and pronation are very important .

Good video. If you did a survey, were people have to write 1 time every year. Height, weight, xx or xy, years since they started in a club (experience)(0.5 year +), age, preferred move 1,2,3 and what move do you win over the most 1,2,3. 1 is the best move and 1 is the one move wins the most over. And you could write op to 1 A4 page of why you think you have the move you use. Then I would write. 181 cm. 93 kg +- 1kg xy 1 year age 23 Preferred move 1.Toproll 2.Hook 3.Press Win over move 1. Toproll 2.Hook 3.Press Write: I think I win more over Toproll than Hook is because I have a strong cup. This could be good data were people cant just say I lift a 10 T in a day or I can lift a cow, but it would also be cool to see if people would put in there occupation and see if the average farmer is a superhumans or just people like the rest of us. And maybe next year I am going to write, so after getting better and going against better and stronger people cupping a good toproller is not something you just do. And then it: 2 years. Win over move 1.Hook 2. Toproll 3.Press But it just an idea I guess. 🙂.

when is world's? very excited to see you back in WAF! what weight class will you be competing in? 70 or 75kg? Sad no russians will be there. Really would like to see you go against makarov and zoloev if you went 75kg. and there's also emil. also - i've noticed you get the advantage initially against procopciuc but can't finish. i'm just curious, how much time have you spent trying to learn the press from these advantageous positions? i've seen emil win this way against procopciuc both left and right and was wondering why most arm wrestlers (yourself included) do not try this against their opponents (i.e. they continue to toproll) once they have the advantage. i'm guessing it's not nearly as strong as your/their toproll? good luck at world's!
@tarasaitis_arm2 жыл бұрын
Worlds will happen in two weeks. I will go at 75kg. I noticed very early that press is a good option against Daniel. But it takes years to develop it. The recent fight with Oleg Tudorean tells me that I am almost there. It starts to feel good to press them after they get tired.
