That’s neat that it’s such a universal symbol! It came to be mostly in Canada because while a Canadian was dying they wrote the poem In Flanders Fields! We have Remembrance Day too and there’s quite a bit of stuff there that I’m not going to explain but we all wear poppy pins on that day

I read a short story a little bit ago I haven’t read yellowfangs tragedy r wtv it was called lmao. But I remember one time he had lots wrestling and one broke their neck because the kits were too rough and sloppy and then broke star killed about 3 kits and blamed it on yellow fang. I think Marigoldpaw was the first one to die or broke stars apprentice I can’t remember. But it was really brutal and he killed more than just these 4 sadly. About half with his own paws and direction

Mosspaw died first, kits trained to early and he sadly snapped his neck Marigoldkit and Mintkit died together after leaving camp and getting mauled by foxes/Brokenstar leading them out to kill em (not sure which is correct) and then Yellowfang got exiled cuz she found the kits dead bodies and Brokenstar framed her,

The rest of the arcs WISH they could have been as brutal as the first arc. Shit was INSANE back then, no wonder why the early fandom was so edgy.
