Oh God, that part in the book where Galestar had said she was happy not to be in StarClan broke my heart. Their story was heartbreaking. I actually really liked this super edition. It was a very good look into how grief can just cause you to be stagnant in life if you don't move on. But moving on doesn't mean forgetting. It just means that you accept the loss.

My biggest criticism (maybe less criticism and more…well I don’t know what else it would be, a funny joke in my mind)is that the warriors cats books are only NOW doing what warriors cats fans have been successfully doing for since the first books came out. Moonpaw having Heterochromia, two leader cross clan relationship, introducing wild cats, stormclan for gods sake. It’s all kind of funny to me.

Guys...My sibling and I figured out that Stripestar and Galestar were during after Owlstar and Gorsestar. Because the third leaders Whitestar and Duststar have no ancient names with the clans. For example: Ryewhisker and Cloudberry. Other names were Tumble Leap, Stalk Purr, Prowl Sleek, Spring Claw, and Hunt Growl. These are ancient names example: Moth Flight. So the names are ancient and are from after Owlstar and Gorsestar's reign. Because Owlstar, he was the leader after the death of Thunderstar. Gorsestar was the leader after the death of Windstar. This is my thoughts with my sibling.

@@ChicagoMel23Sad people make it worse by breeding hybrids to be pets instead of trying to maintain the endangered cats 😢 especially when so many of those hybrids just get put down for being too wild (1st gen or close to 1st gen) or because the owner realized it was too much for them and they gave the hybrid away only for it to be put down as shelters would have no luck successfully getting them homes they’d STAY in. Not to mention these hybrids can’t really get most vaccines, they don’t entirely work on these hybrids ig

Oh this is gonna be fun for the translators. I know in finnish, Thunderclan is translated as Stormclan (propably because the literal translation wouldn't have sounded as good next to the other clan names, also in dawn of the clans Storm and Thunder's names are flipped to fit the existing tanslation) and now they have to figure out what to swap this new clan's name for, so that it still fits as a merging of Windclan and "Stormclan".

I like the way StormClan was created. Me and my partners wrote a series of fanfics revolving around our fanmade Clans and one of them was made just like that: two leaders saying: "You know what? To Hell with everyone! Let's become one, because I want to be with you!". The second one ìwas made from more Clans uniting as well, but not out of relationship reasons and had a different hierarchy, ancestors and laws. Also love that we finally see real wildcats😍

They meet a mountain lion, which are NOT european. When I read the second series I half-seriously headcanoned that the new territory is somewhere in North America. Its wayy too close to the old forest to make sense but it is a pretty funny image imagining the cats somehow reaching mainland europe and then walking through middle & eastern europe towards the north, crossing over somewhere around Russia and Alaska. Now THAT would have been a wild series.

Personally I assume the writers just play fast and loose with that - tho it is suprising we havent seen hedgehogs (if it was set in europe) or skunks/Opossums (if its in america) before. Also all depictions of midnight I have seen make her a european badger.

Ivypool even mentions in one chapter that the elders could take a leader position in the clan, and how helpful it could potentially be for clan life moving forward after seeing the respect the wildcats elders received! Something interesting is I also once had a short idea of a forgotten clan, cloudclan A group of rogues sent by an unknown group of spirits, though the clans didn’t believe it. But they let them stay anways. They stayed to the left of shadowclan, across the road in the field near mother mouth. The clans never liked cloudclan, and didn’t believe that their leader (VineStar) had received nine lives. They did allow cloudclan to come to gatherings and medicine cat meetings. But one winter, shadowclan was having to much trouble. The other four clans said Cloudclan needed to share territory with shadowclan. But cloudclan refused, stating that their territory was already barren of prey. And they couldn’t afford to share. The other clans spoke with eachother, and agreed cloud clan shall be chased out. As they believed it hadn’t been starclan to send them, and that they were simply rouges leeching off the clans prey supplies. Cloudclan had been around for around almost ten years, and while they had struggled; they had managed. But with all four clans against them, they had no chance. A secret attack was led on their clan. And the clans wouldn’t spare any cat. They attempted to fight, but were greatly outnumbered. Many died, and the leader at that point (TwistedStar) gave in and ran off. Shadowclan used their territory, and all seemed ok. Cloudclan escaped, and headed towards sun-drown place. Entering it and living near the upp right corner of the journey map. But slowly, without clans to help them. Cloudclan died off. And while the old clans who regretted their choices did speak of them, they began to become forgotten. And starclan had been the ones to send the rouges to the territories, as they were meant to help save the territories and lead the clans to a new home.

The stormclan super edition might follow Stripestar and the rest of stormclan after they lose Galestar. It can show the divide of which cats left back to the clans to reform thunderclan and windclan, and if stripestar doesnt follow with some other loyal warriors, it could be about where they go and what they do. I hope it does follow this plot because I feel the other half of the story was spoiled too much. What happened after Galestar was lost is less clear on the stormclan front.

I actually went away from the book wondering if they were going to introduce a modern version of Stormclan eventually. Because of the notable lack of information about what happened to Stripestar and the rest of Stormclan after Galestar was lost to them. While we are told that many of the cats returned to the forest to form the modern day Windclan and Thunderclan again; it’s also possible that the group who stayed with Stripestar had formed their own clan somewhere else. Separated from the others and having lost their clan history to time.

Lol Stormclan was my first fanfic clan; which is based off on a tropical island that endures storms that are also wild cats which had a exotic breeder/smuggler which was destroyed in a big storm causing four clans to form; as well as technically a fifth clan that was built of Rouges remaining in the debris destroy twoleg area. Stormclan has the largest but most dangerous territory facing the worst of the roaringwinds,etc, Stoneclan which stayed on the highest point of this island, oftentimes being the most brutish and arrogant, Bogclan that is in the more calmer wetlands, and Meadowclan that upholds the flattest area of the island neighboring the rouges. Had a really intensive lore, and had this story for yeeeears. Lol, I remember it was well loved in Miiverse where many roleplayed the clans that I had written up or drawn fanart. Such great memories. My iwn personal Stormclan will alwats be my top favorite fan story.

Okay this is so cool. What if they split happens before they start using the kit/paw/warrior suffix thing (I don’t think Emberkit counts? I think their name was a mistake) and that’s why they’re all named like that. Also Tumble is such a cute prefix
