Not bad for a 60s toy soldier. The blending of colour is amazing. It's like your doing a painting just like Bob Ross as another commenter mentioned. Very nice result. I must buy some of those Vallejo colours. I've never used them before. Great work James. Excellent video.👍🙂🇭🇲🦘✌️

Perhaps you should try napoleonic figures from BMC, hat, or armies in plastic it’ll be a huge change in colors and gear

Do you sell any of these great works? I'm sure there will be collectors who want to buy it. very extraordinary army men😍

I’m thinking I might open a store and sell them. They’re taking up a lot of space.

@@Jamesviolaofficial That could be a smart move! Have you thought about where you'd sell or what kind of store you'd set up?
@JamesviolaofficialАй бұрын
I’ve sold through eBay a lot but I was thinking direct sales through my website might be the most efficient way in the future.

If you had to, would the original colors be able to restored on this figure back to blue? Or is it permanently turned far more unrecognizable because it lost it’s signature blue?
@Jamesviolaofficial2 ай бұрын
Yeah I totally can get that paint off. It’s water based acrylic, which means it will dissolve with cleaner called “Simple Green”. If you submerge the figure in a glass of that stuff for between, 12 - 24 hours and you should be able to remove it with warm water and an old toothbrush pretty easily.

@ Phew, good to know that the original form is recoverable and a priceless artifact in the armymen community is safe and restorable.
