How does this review have so few views & comments? It's really good! Thanks for helping me relieve some of my childhood :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I just started KZbin about four months ago, so my channel is pretty unknown still 😅 I'm hoping that people with same love of nostalgic games like this that I have will keep stumbling across my videos and smile.

I own both the N64 and Dreamcast versions and I don't remember any exclusive level on the N64

the most hilarious thing to me, is that general plastros ideology is "i like doing evil things because being evil is fun" lol

Sarge's Heroes was a decent game for the time it came out. You are correct about the difficulty; I remember not getting past the fridge level as a kid due to there not being checkpoints. The multiplayer I found really fun too, even though it's the typical Deathmatch mode.

one of those games i have so much nostalgia for, but going back ot it my biggest complaint is the controls. if you could just strafe with the c-buttons like in goldeneye and had proper dual analog support in the case of sarges heroes 2 on ps2 i think it would still hold up really well and be a ton of fun to play

How did they not get the cutscenes on a 512mb cart like RE2 on Nintendo 64? It should have been possible.

because of the n64s microcode that only a handfull of folks figured out how to utilize correctly, from what I heard, theyre not even true fmvs your basically watching a digitized version of a flip book with sound put over it, if I remember the old video I watched correctly.
