Similar Awesome Question, what's the difference between T1 and Ground B. Guys and team. In personal who get picked obviously there more undercover but interesting what's the difference in that Guy that gets in vs T1

Wouldn't transfers from Delta to 6 be stopped by the SEALs' insistence on only having BUD/S grads who wear the Trident? Seems like an apples and oranges comparison.
@alexanderporto93103 ай бұрын
Yea it’s actually impossible for a Delta operator to go to seal team 6 without going to BUDs and SQT. Such a stupid comparison people make.

He first says the difference is the maritime component and then goes ahead to say he has never seen any army guy go to navy! Very contradicting... It's known that CAG can't join ST6 coz of the water aspect but they keep repeating this every damn time! It's tiring

I did three projects with Navy SEALs as a naval scientist. Delta takes guys from the SEALs Army Rangers Air Force special ops. It doesn’t go the other way. Unless you were a SEAL to begin with. And to counter what this guy says I’ve NEVER known a Navy guy to go to the Army EVER unless it was to go to Delta. Not for enlisted officer or special operations except for Delta
@DAC493 ай бұрын
The “never seen an Army guy go to the Navy but have seen many Navy guys come to the army” line that is used a lot with Delta guys is misleading. For the simple fact that Delta takes almost anyone who’s willing to try out. That’s always been Deltas thing…they open their door to all branches and all jobs. So a SEAL who’s standard SEAL or in DEVGRU can hop over to the UNIT easily and try out any time. And some have just to challenge themselves and keep climbing the ladder of specialty A DELTA guy cannot simply hop over to the SEALS. he would have to go through BUDS and spend years there before he got a chance to try out for the Navy’s equivalent to DELTA. This line is always used amongst UNIT guys and no one ever takes into consideration the details. BUDS has MANY MANY stories of not only supreme athletes trying out but also Rangers, Green Berets, Marines, Air Force and more. So there is a lot of seasoned spec ops guys who go try out BUDS. And if a DELTA guy COULD hop over to DEVGRU it would have been done. But by the time a guy is in the UNIT and is older he’s most likely not going to want to start all the way in BUDS and work his way up again.

😂 Delta just "takes anyone willing to tryout" huh?? really... Smooth Brains go try out then... being open to doesn't mean you can just go tryout...let alone make it on The most elite HR unit on the planet ...where a handful in history hasn't been SF, or Ranger

😂😂 Army recruits Navy guys and spins it like they're better. The bottom line is the DEVGRU recruits from the SEAL teams, specifically while DELTA recruits from every Manny, Moe, and Jack from all branchs of service. So, of course, DEVGRU isn't going to have any Army guys in their command without becoming a SEAL first, minus the civilian workers.
@JohnDoe699863 ай бұрын
Another thing, the Army guys start at a basic level learning infantry tactics and typically serve in a conventional unit a few years before even going to SF let alone Delta. The SEALs just dont have such an extensive history with large scale infantry tactics and movements.

I was a Naval Scientist and engineer for 25 years. Worked with SoCom and JSOC . Did three projects for SEALs two at Fallon and one with Team 1 in Coronado. I’ve never known a Navy guy enlisted Officers or SEALs to go Army. Generally it felt like a step down except for Delta

I agree, to be on any Team you have to go thru BUD/S So Sailors actually have an edge of the waterborne skill set
@Frank-uw5xq3 ай бұрын
You obviously don't know what the fvck your talking about.. Delta being "open" to all services is true, but 99.9% are SF, Rangers, CCT, plus to get thru means you deserve it.. Delta is the standard & been the trend setter

I always say they are equal, and CAG can't join 6 COZ Of THE WATER REQUIREMENT.. But if you pple want a logical argument here it is: ST6= Sea Air and Land (3).. CAG=Air and Land (2).. 3 is greater than 2 any day anytime!
