Have them bad here in the Greensboro, N.C. area. Thank goodness I sprayed them when they were small with Carbaryl (wasn't my favorite to use). Also having problems trying to explain to some customer why they got and some of the other yard I do didn't. Love your video's

Mowing every other day in the early mornings around 7-8am. Sprayed, keeping grass around .6 with the reel has been ok. But I went out of town mid July. Came back to devastation . Fukers even gettin in my garage. Bermuda is recovered a lot but not near where it was. Until then year was going great.

First - Thank you....sigh, there's so much conflicting information out there. In Okie land they loved bermuda and ignored fescue for the most part. I will treat, as you said, at overseeding time when I have the fesuce cut low, and power rake up. I assume I can mix bifentren with the tenacity just before seeding.

I mainly spray fire ants and mosquitoes but I have a decent amount of weed control customers and more wanting to get on the schedule. I am in florence SC and most yards are centipede. I used atrazine and msm this past spring with pretty good results. I plan on using prodiamine and was wondering if you would use a split ap in fall and spring or just one application in the spring? Also, when it comes to pricing. How do you price yards out? For example someone with half acre lot that wants to get on your program that has normal weeds with possibly small amounts of crab grass? I have put so much bug killer on my lawns the moths just drop dead before they land. Then I spray Dawn dish soap on the lawn heavy and the bugs blow bubbles then die. Here in St Louis we had so much rain this year I only ran my sprinkler few times but I think that way I did not have a bug problem.

Paul With Accelpryn I read somewhere for continuous year round protection to put down preventative rate on the A's. April and August do you agree or do you think a strong app in July is enough. Curious if all the rain we have had would warrant a second app. I put out an app end of July I'm in North Ga.

They seem to love bentgrass the most but don’t discriminate against the bluegrass and fescue. I’ve had damage in all of them. Had put down some fertilizer with bifenthrin in late July. Seeing some serious damage mid to late August in northern Ohio. I’ve never seen them this bad before

I only have one bentgrass lawn and I sprayed that preventatively with Acelepryn I have read they like fine blade grass …. But I have seen em eating everything. I think you can only get about 3 weeks out of bifenthrin

Conserve SC by Corteva/Dow Agroscience? That is a good alternative product for Pyrethroid resistant Armyworm. Bee safe, fish safe, animal safe, and people safe.

@@PaulsPrimeCuts Different. Intrepid Edge is Methoxyfenozide, which is an insect growth regulator and Spinoteram the much more active cousin of Spinosad. Intrepid Edge is a good choice for Pyrethroid resistant Armyworm in corn, soybean and vegetables. It is minimally hazardous to humans, pollinators, animals and fish like Spinosad. Closest thing to Intrepid Edge was Mach 2 IGR. That was around from the 1990s til about 2010. Then the manufacturer pulled it from the market.

Bifenthrin sprayed out 7/20 in Maryland, preventive. Haven't seen them yet. With trying to keep my soil alive, I have some leftover Neem Oil and see that could be used also. Anybody have any experience using that on them ?

It would be cool to see a picture of some of those eggs that the moths lay. I have seen patches of eggs of varying types around the house, but don't know what insect they're laid by.

Commercial mowers may be the cause of wide spread infestation of armyworms. These guys need to pressure wash worms off mowers before moving from one yard to another. Any truth to that Paul?

Commercial mowers can move disease seeds and sprigs of grass around and have been know to spread Bermuda but the 1200 lb mowers actually do some good by smashing those little bastards They do not transport egg masses or worms nor do adult moths hitch a ride to lawns

Sound like you were near some Dove hunters at the first of the video. Dove season came in I think Saturday here in NC. Is it possible to just soak your yard good with Dawn . Using a ortho dial sprayer? To kill those Army worms .
