I have knit your hat pattern like this one a few times and is one of my favourites. It is always a joy to see your projects that you are working on. I never heard the "hand in your slippers" one before and like it better. Arne your jeans that you are adding the fabric to are just amazing. The talent you both have is above and beyond!

Wow Arne, you are such a skilled artist! I am totally in awe how you are making those arms of that jacket longer, incuding finding the right yarn and using the same complicated pattern. So much work is going into this that people don't even see. It is wonderful that you can do that!

❤ What a beautiful sunday visit! You two are handsome in those shirts - Carlos, pink 🩷 is definitely your color! The olive green on that jacket is scrumptious! You have inspired me to set my Spring 🪻table with my mother’s pink Depression glass cookie jar and green cups and saucers - with a lovely texture of simple squares - she was so Modern! Arne, that doll’s dress with the birds is exquisite. Love to watch you both as the wheels turn to discover new ideas and directions for a project. Will send you all my embroideries, etc. when I turn in my slippers! ❤ THANK YOU!!!

Carlos, I share your passion for coloured glass. Coincidentally, just prior to your podcast viewing today, I moved the pieces I have into the windows from a shelf. We've had so little sun this winter in Quebec, it inspired to move them around to enjoy to colours. We had a snow storm recently and hopefully it is the last of the season. This sun is to stay all week and is very welcome. Thanks for the fun podcast today.

Hi thank you for an interesting video. I was so happy to see the South African fabric. Being South African, I know and love this fabric and grew up with it. Thirty years ago I had dresses made in this fabric. I just want to warn you that the fabric shrinks and the colour also washes out. The more you wash it, the softer it becomes. Our indigenous people call it Shwe-shwe and many use it in wonderful outfits for many important ocations. I think you get other colours . A website called African mamma has these fabrics. Love them.

The embroidery is fantastic, especially of the quails. My grandmother and mother's generation had all of these types of you name it on the furrniture, the dressers, the end tables. It was everywhere in the house. It even appeared on clothing. But you guys know this! Happy Spring! My husband and I used to collect butterflies in the early 1970s. I also rescue unfinished projects and finish them. I am finishing a piece of knitting that I can finish and make as a baby blanket that I line with soft flannel or silk. It's an unusual sort of white yarn that I couldn't match so when I use the last of the second ball. That will be the size.

Your Indigo patchwork jeans were amazing! And looked to fit you well....no Long John's needed! I think my Grandma Lela would love that some of her handkerchiefs may become part of something you make!!! It sounds like the "New Wing" will be decorated like a gossamer butterfly wing.
