It was never about race or skin color. Johnathan and Neal heard him sing; Arnel has an amazing voice. It was never about replacing Steve Perry his voice is a once in a lifetime find it was about bringing the sound back that made journey the band everybody loves.

Insane vocals on this song. A favorite of my Journey tunes, and I have been listening to them since Steve joined them. Saw Journey on their Departure tour in Hawaii. I remember when this new album came out, and this song was their first video from it, and I thought "Wow! Just killer!" - and then the tour was cut short when Steve had a cardiac incident while jogging in Hawaii. Such a shame man. Steve Perry's voice is amazing and so is Arnel's. Great job Arnel - so much passion!

Steve Perry set the standard of what we all expect from Journey. Steve was the best.. but he wasn't the first singer. Arnel absolutely has what it takes to carry on the legacy. I play guitar in a rock/metal band. But my love towards music has always been stuff like Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, Journey.. etc besides rock/metal music. But this song is the best song ever.
