Hi Arnel, I've been a fan since I saw you cover Faithfully in that old video. I recently watched your life story with Ogie Diaz vlog. You're such a blessing to all your fans. Your life story is just unbelievable. I hope they make a Netflix episode of your story or a movie perhaps. If not yet, I hope you get to know God as well. You've covered most of the songs globally, even created yours too. Imagine one day, we see you on KZbin, singing Gospel Songs. It's 2023 and Journey opened their world tour in Durant, Oklahoma! Arnel was in top form, the performance was flawless and every note was in place. The media may report dysfunction but this band is operating as a well-oiled machine! Played all the favorites.

Just saw Journey on their Freedom tour in OKC last month- Arnel was awesome! I can’t believe he is 54! He has the energy of a 20 year old. The whole show was amazing! I have loved Journey since the ‘70s - I love them just as much now.

I’d love to hear them now that the new sound guy has come in. From what I have heard & read, Arnel was struggling bc he couldn’t properly hear himself. Arnel doesn't deserve all the criticism he gets for replacing Steve Perry. He didn't seek out the position, they seeked HIM out. And he loves Steve like the rest of us! As much as I adore Steve Perry and am a major fan, and agree that no one can ever sound like the legend Steve, good for Arnel for trying and keeping the band alive. He does a good job and is as kind and humble as a person could be. Give him a break!

It's 2024 and i had the chance to go see Journey on February 17th man they rocked and Toto was playing there also and they kicked ass man what a show it was a wonderful time and a very special moment for me having my son right there as we sang along with both bands. Arnel is just a natural. Super humble and gets thrown on stage in front of thousands and fits in seamlessly. Definitely one of the most inspirational stories for musicians trying to make it. And as much as I love Steve Smith’s drumming and arrangements, Deen just makes this band sound meaner and tougher and can still hold back on the ballads. And his vocals are a huge asset to this band.

They were already lowering keys to certain songs , on his very 1st tour , towards the end of the tour . To be fair his vocals were never put threw what Perry had to endure for the Escape and Frontiers tours . This is the reason he is still able to sing for the band .
