Apparently this sequel was announced in 2012. The last known update is that in March 2018 it was said that the script is finished and Eddie Murphy is officially attached.

Twins was the very first movie I watched in the theater. I was too young to remember it then but after it came out on VHS, my family must have watched it once a month for years. It is still my favorite comedy of all time and it would melt my heart to see a sequel.

Arnold has shrunk so much physically in the last few years. I met him 20 years ago and I had to look up to him (he was over 6'1" for sure) and then I met him at the Arnold Classic in Ohio recently and we were eye to eye (5'10"). He won't be that much taller than Danny today ;-)

*Eastside Low Bottoms shit !* The idea of the sequel where the mother died and they can't get the money until they find the 3rd brother is hilarious ! That idea resonates with me kz i had a similar situation. My parked car was hit. Then my car hit another parked car. That car didn't receive as much damage as mine. Because i couldn't locate the owner, it took the insurance company FOUR YEARS to pay me ! And that was only because i stumbled across him one day just sitting in his car on his lunch break. He happened to work across the street from my house. I told him I'd been trying to find him forever, gave him the number to the insurance company, and a couple weeks later they FINALLY sent us our money.

I still don’t know if a potential sequel will make sense. The original explained how Arnold and Danny were twins cos of the 6 fathers experiment. Even the picture they show in the film of their fathers they were all white with no black guy. So the idea of idea of Eddie Murphy being the 3rd brother is forced and doesn’t make sense.
