His performance was excellent. But that said, I was always amused this is what the machines chose as a covert infiltration robot. A massive dude with an Austrian accent and muscles so massive that they are damn near impossible to get even with pre-apocalyptic gym equipment and steroids. Blends in perfectly!

Kinda depressing to think that the audience identifies with the villain. Even as a kid, I thought Kyle Reese embodied everything I wanted to be as a man. And Michael Biehn really "became" that character. Reese is still Mike's favorite character of all he's played.

Best decision he’s made in his film career. Arnold is and will always be my favorite actor. I know he isn’t the best actor by any stretch but he knew the roles he was able to do and did them great. He has a ton of classics. One of a kind. I’m 28 now but have watched his movies since i was around 7.

A lot of credit should obviously go to James Cameron for creating such an intense, often times, unnerving thriller. But I can't imagine anyone besides Arnold playing that role now. He was perfect and he should get his due for being such a scary, physical presence on screen. That's what it called for and he delivered the goods. OJ? What a joke that would have been.

vsboy 25 Supposedly Lance Henrikson was the one who actually landed the role, but at the last minute was given to Arnold. Henrikson evidently showed up on set in character moody and stone faced complete with leather jacket. Cameron gave him the role as police detective afterward. Personally I think under Cameron’s direction, Henrikson would have made a fine android from the future! 😉💥
