Strange observation, but Jamie Reeves has to be the best commentator that’s a former strongman. Really enjoy listening to his commentary.

In my opinion, it’s a tie between him and big Loz. They’re both great commentators, who really love strongman, and know what they’re talking about.

How is it that the editing back then was better than the editing now?

Boomers vs. millennials. I guessing, there were no participation prizes to feel that you accomplish something by not winning or putting 100 proc. of your effort. And it is seen at work, new vs. old.

@@VisualFeast7557 I suspect the problem is the mismanagement of funds for editing, commentary, and distribution.

Less quick cuts and more straightforward. Also probably less cameras to keep it simple.

@@garrettjohnson907 It would be nice if someday everyone would show respect to the great man, and stop butchering his nickname/stage personality, or moniker, if you prefer. Not once, has Mr. Ross referred to himself as "big daddy". His catchphrase, for the millionth time, is "Who's the Daddy?!" Not whos your daddy, not big daddy. He's never said it any other way.

Just wondering if my ears deceive me at 19:05. Did one of the announcers call Brian siders West Virginia’s first strongman competitor? Not Doug Anderson or Jamie Reeves, one of the announcers that Coled names as the men were getting ready to perform their lifts.
