I have the black ion-plated version of the Armitron Griffy Retro LED watch. The best thing about the watch is its large, brightly glowing, easy-to-read numerals! The bracelet feels too light and flimsy but that is to be expected in a low-priced watch like this one. Obviously the watch is not the quality of the new Hamilton Pulsar, black ion-plated, LED watch, but the Armitron watch has two huge advantages over the much more expensive new Hamilton Pulsar black ion-plated LED watch (besides, of course, the fact that the Armitron watch is much more affordable for most people) which are (1) the Armitron watch has much larger, easier-to-read numerals and (2) the Hamilton watch from what I have read, incredibly lacks a date and month indicator! Even if the original Hamilton Pulsar P1 and P2 LED watches (which are currently being sold on Ebay for ridiculously insane, way overpriced prices) lacked a month/date indicator, to make the new Hamilton Pulsar LED watch without a month/date, or preferably, a month/day/date indicator is absolutely ridiculous!

I’ve just received my silver version. Nostalgia has occurred! I’m old enough to remember when LED watches were “normal” timepieces. The display is not authentically small, and unreadable outside, which is no bad thing. The Griffy looks at least as good quality-wise as the old models, mine was a Gala and the batteries (2 at a time) didn’t last 6 months. Thanks for the review.

It's a surprisingly good concept for a dress watch. Just looks like an obscure black slab surrounded by metal, and it's thin enough to vanish under a shirt cuff. Realized this when I saw Saul Goodman wearing a similar thing with a pretty nice suit, only his was gold plated with a circular case and round window. Btw you should mention your wrist size. 😂

Just got one from a department store in the Philippines for quite a bit more money but its almost a clone of the Original companies 3rd generation Pulsar digital which were even more expensive than they are today

I just got one from the dept. Store in the Philippines and also have very hairy arms and after a few days not a single hair was pulled
