Hey Barry, Great video as always! I’ve been trading the Aroon indicator for a loooooong time. You’re right on the money here! I wish I could have watched a video like yours when I was learning it. Sure would have saved me a lot of time and hair pulling!!!! People are extremely lucky when they stumble upon your videos like this one for example. It saves them DAYS of trying to figure it out for themselves PLUS you’re giving it away!!! Some of the system sellers are probably having fits with you! hahahaha

I have been using the Aroon indicator since the last video. It has been working very nicely when paired with my modified RSI strategy. It has been speeding up finding stocks & crypto to trade just by glancing you can see which way momentum is going. Thanks for the videos.

sir i am from India ,which period setting of aroon gives me correct signal.in India timing of commmodity market is 9am to 11:30 pm.I prefer intraday trading.and working on 15 min and 30 min charts

There's no best time frame for Aroon. It adjusts to whatever time frame you apply it to.

You got the "leading vs lagging" indicator explanation completely backwards. It's the lagging indicator that will give even less time to react (if any at all) than the leading indicator. You give the explanation right around the 3-4 min mark.

@@TopDogTrading Very good articles, straight forward and clear explanation, thank you, but it does not help and is not for someone who just start learning how to trade. For novice trader these articles just like say " go and figure out". If you did not trade aroon indicator and can't make recommendation regarding time frame and chart type all you need to say is "I don't know , I did not trade this indicator".

Barry, your videos are great, really recommended. A suggestion for improvement though: pls always make clear what asset and timeframe we are looking at. I know, because I am your student, that you would say "it is irrelevant', but it is good for our exercise anyway to know that and be able to replicate and play with our own charts as you do - thanks!

Except 99% of the time (not in this video) the aroon will only show the trend after at least half of it has gone and more likely than not leave you at the end of it.
