Hey Michael, looking forward to seeing the trip. I also have a 2018 Versys-x 300 (Kawi Green colour). I've done Adelaide to Alice Springs and back. The bike is very capable. Good luck on your trip!

Awesome trips coming up. Which throttle lock did you go with?

@@garyoneill8868 it’s just a generic one I’ve had for some time. No idea of brand. I’ve had a few and found them very similar. It’s just a palm grip thingy. I’ve got an omni cruise but found it slips so I don’t really use it.
