That must have been an exhausting corn planting season. 10 acres...I can't even imagine. lol. I hope the crop does well for you. It was cool seeing corn being planted with a 4 row planter and an open station tractor when most farming channels have 24 row planters with 400 horsepower GPS auto steer tractors these days. Keep history alive because it kept us alive!!!

@@jtsbarnngrill6873 I totally get it. Your equipment was set up for wheat and soybeans and corn is a different kind of crop that requires different equipment. Even with older equipment that's still an expensive proposition when you already have what you need for wheat and soybeans.

I understand the pain of those straight pipes on the 1155. My neighbor that I helped had one on his. He had some farm ground in a little community and it was right behind several houses. After the first night or two they asked us to be done by 9:00 p.m. His air and heat still worked so it wasn't that loud in the cab, but man if you opened the doors it would rattle your cage! By the way the crow flies his home wasn't but about 3-4 miles from that little community. He told me he could tell when I put the chisel plow in the ground and when I pulled it out of the ground. Needless to say, the pipe didn't stay on.
