OK, so your saying you only turn down the studs with the Allen side hand tight...? Then the cap nut gets tighten to 100ft lb. How do you know when the stud is placed deep enough of tight, prior to the cap specs. ..? there must be some lb. requirement. ?

Hey Wade I know that the 625 are reusable what about the ones in the video and what about power level with them thanks

ARP 2000s are reusable as well. Ask ARP and they'll tell you that as long as you torque them to spec and not over, they're reusable. It's a common internet "myth" that ARP 2000s are not reusable...

Are these 2000s plenty adequate for a 6.7 CTD running EFI live tow tuning deleted I'm getting conflicting answers on the internet about the 2000/425 not being worth the time on a 6.7 CTD vs keeping the stock head bolts and that 625 is needed...I'm not sure if these are unrealistic people running hot rod trucks who did 2000s telling people with mildly tuned trucks what works ...???

If you aren’t fire ringing then our experience is that with proper torque and retorque on your setup on those similar the 2000’s are fine. But that’s a loaded answer in itself. Head needs to be trued and quality gasket used.

Why the hell is all that worth $1200 bucks? Rip Off
@thoroughbreddiesel5 жыл бұрын
Because they are not... The price is much less than $1,200 for the product in this video (see link in the description for the product). You are probably thinking of the Custom Age 625+ studs which are different.

@@thoroughbreddiesel 625 studs are not worth $1200 either. Just a ripoff to get more money. You know it doesn't cost them anywhere near that to manufacturer those studs. I believe you understood the point he was getting at!
