The worst thing about playing an instrument is coming to the understanding that things look so much easier to the untrained eye. You'll spend a week learning a song, and when you go to show it off everyone looks on like "cool, but I mean I could do that too". This is god level, jaw dropping shit to anyone who plays, to all the non musical onlookers it's just "cool"

I sort of agree with most people here, you have to play guitar even a little bit to understand why you should be amazed by it. The clarity, tone and skills are all there and he plays very well. But most people even people who play forget one thing when it comes to playing any musical instrument. You must be capable of creating something completely original. This guy's solo seems to be original and is why I think he may one day make it, its the originality and creativity that make people famous. I haven't even seen a comment of anyone even noticing that his picking style has wore a hole into the bare wood where his pinky rests. That hole gives you an idea of just how much work he put into playing. How wore a damn hole through lacquer, a veneer cap and bare wood. Again great playing and execution especially in front of people.
@christianstewart99874 жыл бұрын
I totally agree. His soloing was not only incredibly fast and technical, but also had a unique sound; I have never heard anything like this. @@facundofalconi3127 Yeah I am referring to the improvisation of how he is using a melodic solo he created over the top of the base song. I didn't know who the base song was by but I didn't think it was him and just did what I also like to do and play over songs I like or know to exercise on the spot improv. So pretty much the originality of the solo itself. I'll have to check the original backing song out, thanks for letting me know who it was.

To an extent yes. But to learn scales and arpeggios uncleanly doesn't take a whole lot of skill. "Shredding" or jerking off has its places but for almost 6 mins it gets old you cal only sweep pick and shit for so long before it gets old. He is very promising though

@Gonçalo Martinez he's more articulate than me. You are right, but I envy how his fingers do what he tells them to do, and not sorta, like in my case. He's flying around different keys and he doesn't even need to think about what he's doing. It's not my style of music, but he has it nailed.

@@janjuko4024 I don't think so. I mean it should be just one button. You click - you pay. I mean - throw a dollar or so without no further clicking, filling forms, entering passwords, confirmations and all the shit I hate. I mean - you're on the street you just throw a dollar (or whatever change you got in your pocket). It takes a second.
