I can actually see a potential solution to the transparent gold with some relatively minor modifications to the base. Fixing the tainted soul gem blink would probably require gutting the whole thing and replacing the entire set of electronics though. Even so, it definitely looks like a great cost-effective solution for cosplayers.

I have the opposite issue; I have three soul gems I got out of gachapon machines six years ago. You add water to them and they have floating sparkles but NO LIGHTS. There isn't enough room for lights either imo. :( The one's you reviewed at least have a few relatively easy fixes. You could fill the light compartment with clear epoxy (with added sparkles) to disperse the light a bit because the soul gem light should have a non-definite point of origin. Transparent gold isn't something I know how to fix though.

I have the originals and they are far different from these. I wouldn't like em even if they are good looking replicas, they aren't shiny :( sides the tainted soul gems aren't really tainted just dark. I got the original REBELION Soul Gem Light Set, which includes Homura's soul gem after turning into a Goddess and two tainted soul gems corresponding to Homura (witch version and corrupt ver).
