This is helpful, only I wish I have known sooner, I almost never use y dish washer but yesterday I did and omg 😳 I put my milk shaker cup in it. I believe it is made out of aluminum ( it looks like stainless still). Anyway so when I unloaded the dishwasher 😱that cup was looking horrible. And now Im mad 😠 at myself. How can I restore it.

We are not supposed to overlap utensils inside a dishwasher. It is a strict no-no. This prevents water and soap from going to every corner of the utensil. So never overcrowd your dishwasher. You can find these instructions clearly in the instruction manual provided with the dishwasher.

Thank you !! Try using different brands of soap or use just the rinse agent (liquid) instead of soap. Also try changing your cycle settings.

You also have to use dishwasher salt along with the dishwasher powder, to reduce the hardness of water.

Jahan, u can also try running ur sink taps to hot water, for about 3mins b4 using the dish washer, i do that,and it has helped me avoid the white patches, after i watch that in a 10 tips b4 using the dish washer.
