They both are so gifted that they don't have to spell out the music notes, Jacob just plays the chord for the vibe and June picks up on it and adds it

Those skills are usually learned from music school! Ear training is really tough and seeing how they effortlessly do this shows how much time and thought they put into developing that skill.

Thank you for sharing some of the process behind the arrangements! Jacob is very lucky to have someone who gives so much attention to his music. I (as a lot of people here on youtube, I think) wouldn't listen to his music in the same way if it was not for your transcriptions, interviews, analysis, and most recently the arrangements! I think it’s cool how Jacob is complementing June on the voicings because I doubt Jacob new exactly what he was doing, I think he might’ve just wrote what he heard in his head and this is the first time he’s seeing what it actually is
