What a before and after. I have a couple questions, so you use up the whole packet of flower food or can you extend the use? Then how do you change out the water, the arrangement is so pretty I would know how to do that?

Great questions! The packet of plant food usually has instructions explaining how much powder to put in a certain amount of water. If you buy more than one bundle of flowers, they typically each have one, so you'll have a few packets to use. When it's time to change the water, I gently lay the arrangement down and freshen it. Although, when it's time to change the water, there are usually a few flowers that are past their peak, so I remove those and rearrange things a bit. Sometimes I'll even trim the stems even shorter and put the arrangement in a shorter vase depending on how many flowers I removed. I hope that all makes sense!

@@VintageHipDecor this is really helpful! I changed out the water today and having the grid at the top of the base assisted in keeping the flowers in place as well. I have never considered changing the vase to a smaller one as the flowers start to go, all great advice.
