Ah that's pretty interesting to know that professionals think Pro Res is plenty enough. I recently shot a music video on a Blackmagic set to Pro Res HQ instead of 2.5k, but whether I should of done vise versa nagged me afterwords. Glad I made a decision they would of made.

Can anyone explain to me what they mean by a “muddy image”? They keep referencing how the blacks can get muddy or the image can get muddy, etc. But I cannot find what they mean online. Anyone?
