Hi, how are you? I didn't see the shutter on my camera, which is the same as yours, even opening the lid where the lenses are. Doesn't the shutter helix appear when you look without a lens?

Hi, rotating mirror is the shutter at the same time. Remove the lens and take a look inside. Mirror visible: shutter closed, no mirror: shutter opened.

Siema, jakie odczucia przy stosowaniu fotograficznych stocków w kamerze filmowej? Słyszałem, ze może być trochę problemów (filmy foto nie są dostosowane do pracy w takich prędkościach a i dokładność perforacji jest o wiele niższa). Sam chcę aktualnie zakupić ARRI 2C do eksperymentów na stockach fotograficznych 100ft i widzę, że u Ciebie wyglada to całkiem nieźle. Byłbym wdzięczny za Twoją opinię i ewentualne uwagi, czy miałeś z filmami foto jakieś problemy. Pozdro!

To prawda. Taśma filmowa używa perforacji typu BH, film foto typu KS. Jednak Arri 2c da radę z każdym typem. Nie miałem żadnego problemu z używaniem filmu foto w tej kamerze.

You can rent Arri 2c and shoot your own film. Nobody stops you.

the image is not great for 35mm. It's almost as good as 16mm.

It could be that hand processed expired photo film stock gave such results. Since then I shot a roll of fresh Eastman 5203 and sent it for professional developing. Let’s see if that will bring better quality.

Bollocks, 16mm could only wish to look this good. 50 ASA 16mm would be grainier and less sharp in wider shots.

@@ANALOGBYDGOSKI The footage looks good enough, don't worry. The Internet is full of wanna-be experts. This looks better than 16mm. And it's coming from a 60+ years old camera that could only shoot 2-perf.
