It's always great to see some income coming in. I'm glad that you share not only the successful months but also the months where the income may not be as grand. I'm sure this next quarter will be awesome with the Patagonia workshops as well as the video course! I liked the bit with Brendan earlier in the video, lol! Enjoy Patagonia!

The honesty into your finance income over each quarter is very interesting. Not many people divuldge this information and it gives a great insight into how things can be for people. Keep creating and il keep watching

Nice presentation Greg. Kinda neat hearing you talk about the last quarter for you... I’m listening thinking “yeah I remember that one, and that one, and that one, and that one...”. 😀 Really looking forward to seeing all the videos from all three of you over the next month. (Actually I hope it’s the four of you, including Jodie. I know she said she doesn’t want to do travel vlogs anymore, so we’ll see...) From the point of view from a subscriber of all of you, it’s fascinating to see the different perspectives of each of the film makers for the same trip. I enjoyed that experience with Thomas at the beginning of the year when he went to Banff with Gavin, Adam, and Nick. If you haven’t seen it, you have to watch “THE face-plant” by Adam in Gavin’s video. Anyway, have a great experience, man!

Hard to believe it's been a year already, as that was the point I came on board with you here on YT. If I remember correctly, your channel gained a lot of new subscribers during last year's workshop here. I expect you'll bring us much more great content this time around and gain even more traction.

Yeah time flies. Would be nice to see another jump, it's a hard slog gaining Subs on YT. But my watch time is good and the community here has got some great engagement, so we're all good :) 2019 should be a good one!!

Hey Greg, love the videos, love your work. Just a heads up that maybe a reflection on your impressions/stats. You mentioned at the end 40% of viewers are not subscribed. I just watched a series of your vids back to back on my tv, but on there I can’t log in to my account. So I’ve viewed as a guest or visitor if you like. I’m only logged in on my devices and computer. Maybe that makes a difference, who knows.

It does for sure. We figure that was the case for a lot of people. Glad when you are logged in though you're subscribed 🙂

Awesome vlog man, great info and superb b roll as always... I have a question: what is the collective noun for You Tubers? 3 of you all vlogging must be brilliant to watch lol. I reckon you could make one up.. A Crunch of You Tubers lol!! Wish I was there with you man, would have been awesome. Maybe 2020 😎👍 Cheers, Jase. Oh yeah, as a section to your course on drones dude, you’d have my £££ in a London Minute!! 😉😁

hey another cool one mate - great intro voice over. U don't break down what you earned so we can get an idea of what to charge etc? that would be the real info to help others..... day rate and job rates etc... even if they were ball park figures. Nice one dude.

Guys if you ever plan to travel thru Las Pampas Argentina, let me kow I've got some places you might wanna shot to. Cows & farms other completely different landscape from Patagonia. Love your vlogs
@DavidSenteno5 жыл бұрын
That's a good amount of income when you consider February was flat. Do you budget your expenses based on average yearly income? Do you pay income tax to a specific country or does your nomadic lifestyle provide you with a tax shelter? Finally, how much of your travel is tax deductible and how do you keep track? You got me wondering. Also great to see you guys together again. 🐼
@gregorsnell5 жыл бұрын
Hi David. I don't have an annual expenses budget. I do pax taxes in Germany where my business is registered. I do expense most of my travel as work 😊 👍

Perhaps you could try making some promo videos? Self-commissioned, to promote yourself to more prospective clients. For example, you dine at Acme Restaurant, you like the place, you make a sample promo for the restaurant (tastefully watermarked) and show it around.
@DavidinEssexUK5 жыл бұрын
Just curious. How much of that did you loose on expenses like accommodation.
@gregorsnell5 жыл бұрын
Quite a bit. I want to include the real life expenses of being nomadic into the next My Quarterly Income.
