One of our favourite towns . The toy shop has closed now which is a pity as we always bought the grandkids their Christmas presents there

Hope you have a lovely time there jenny, bob & pops, how much of the dog walk is sniffing time 😀, the weather is not great I know but the sun is out here in the south, glad you bring me along in your travels, you make my day xx

Thanks for another great video. Bourton site looks canny. Thanks to your video on Wharfedale we had a great run down there as I knew what the route was like, so minimal stress. You're becoming my 'go to' team when I'm checking a route and new site. A tour like this would be right up our street. Once retirement happens this will be us.

I have been to this site thought it was very nice and the wardens were good and helpful as well. At the end of the dog walk if you go right up the hill there is the remains of the old railway bridge. And lots to see and do in Boughton as well very picturesque as well as the motor museum. A maze. Flamingo Park and poppy can go in as well. and not forgetting the model village. We loved our time there.

Hi Bob, Jenny & Poppy , long drive. We took a drive to the park you showed us , the Botanic Garden we were lucky has the ferns was open and the birds/cafe. Also a huge swans nest is right by the bridge.

We were on the same site again. You passed my caravan on the way in. I like that site and use it all the time. I had no trouble with EE on my netgear router. These days I always stat on the grass pitch’s at the top of the site where reception better. One other point. Where you followed your satnav and went left though that village to join the A40 if you had cattier straight on you would join the A40 following a better, wider road.

Thanks, yes mobile reception can vary around sites.

Great site.I had a part seasonal pitch here one year. For a great meal try the Black. horse at Naunton. Fab food and very dog friendly.

Hi all - just a note that if you’re coming in the same direction you can avoid the village of Andoversford, ignore the turning signed Dowdswell (where Bob kindly shows the sign) & continue down the hill with Frogmill pub on your right. On reaching the traffic lights turn left & you will rejoin the road where you turn right towards Bourton at traffic lights 😁 Worth doing as there’s always parked cars on the road in Andoversford!

Lovely quiet site we have stayed here many times on our way to and from Cornwall, if you would have carried on with the dog walk it really opens up and you can see brick remains of what I presume was a bridge for the trains. Great to see you out again

A great site very convenient for touring the Cotswolds, we were there when you arrived and it seems funny seeing your own caravan and awning on your video . At the moment we are in a very wet Devon , hoping for better weather when we move to Cornwall on Thursday. You were right the weather has been like November not May . Enjoy the rest of your trips .😀

If you're up for a extreme motorhoming adventure you can walk parts of the old railway line. When the site was called Notgrove it was more descriptive of where it actually is. It's a bit of a trek to Bourton on foot, having said that I do rather like it there at the site.

We were there last year, found a lovely walk into Bourton on water from the site we followed a path that you can see on your left as you are driving in the video at 12:59 (just down the road from the site but you can get to it across the field if it isn't too wet) whilst I noted the time I did notice that on my video the timestamps in the description do not seem to tie in with the time on the video itself. you can also walk to Notgrove Long Barrow from the site's dog walk which may be of interest to the History buffs on here.

Like most people that travel with Dogs or Cats the Animals are always the Stars on the video. Have you ever been to Cirencester? It is a nice little Town i have been there many many times over the last 30 years. Also i have been reading for a couple of weeks we are supposed to be getting a Heatwave. Its either going to Arrive just in time for the Bank Holiday Weekend or Just After.

No, it was the angle I filmed it at, I did wonder if someone would say that. 😊
@peterneal71603 жыл бұрын
You still got squeaky brakes, Pads need lubing or dics roughing up?
@BobEarnshawMoHo3 жыл бұрын
More to do with the type of pad material used these days, apparently. Our previous van did the same, I'm not overly concerned. I will mention it on the next service.

I drive past this many times and I was so wondering when you were going to go there! - What do you think of the main road and it's noise?
@BobEarnshawMoHo3 жыл бұрын
Very slight noise from the road Monday morning, quiet at the weekend though.

Am i the only person that thinks the title of each video should say something different while Bob and Jenny are on the Road? Bob always says Arriving at then the camp site name they are going to, however we always see them leaving the previous site then quite a long Drive most times to the next site and when they do arrive at there destination sometimes we dont see much of the site they are on.
@BobEarnshawMoHo3 жыл бұрын
Probably. Most people tell me they appreciate the details of the drive there and the approach to the campsite. 'Arriving At' seems be popular with the channels who copy us too. I've managed to get over 21,000 subscribers doing it, so it seems to working.
