Hi Carsington one of our favourite local sites go a few times a year on the other side of the site there's another walk think it's called woodland walk you can access it just below the office there's a fabulous view point of reservoir with a bench the walk takes you right to top of site where you just been too Also just 30 mins walk to visitors centre from site where you can have a meal and beverage hot or alcoholic with a view at the mainsail restaurant Have fun

It amazes me how you can remember where you pitched up at most of the sites you’ve been to, I can’t remember my name half the time 🤦🏻♂️ Great vid as usual

Sweet little hermitage, and lovely benches at that NT place. The site looks really nice, with all those trees around and the cul-de-sacs to break up the areas. Looks nice and quiet at the moment too. I also had the problem with the title screen popping up several times. Wasn't sure if it was just me, but I see someone else mentioned it.

Yes the Happy Travellers got it on their video too, someone suggested adjusting the setting in Chrome to do with scrolling, but I've tried that and it's still happening.
@coveredinpaint73185 жыл бұрын
I'm watching on Firefox. Not sure how adjusting the scroll settings would work though.

Thanks for the great video as usual. Is it the Falcon sat-nav, that you are not happy with?
@BobEarnshawMoHo3 жыл бұрын
No it was the built in Sat Nav that came with the Bailey.
@tracysimonsadventures88635 жыл бұрын
Lovely site feel we need to pay a couple of days there. We got a Tom Tom - Camper Satnav, you can put the van sizes in works well. Did you know your title screen keeps flashing up during the video, is it subliminal massaging 🙂
@BobEarnshawMoHo5 жыл бұрын
Thanks, yes, the flashing is something to do with KZbin and certain browsers, it's doing it on mine as well.

Locally we pronounce it 'Kedle....ston' - another lovely day out eh
@coveredinpaint73185 жыл бұрын
I wondered if it was meant to be pronounced like "kettle" but with a d instead of ts.

I know what you mean about satnav systems, we had Garmin built in to the previous van which took us down some really narrow roads in France. We have just changed to a new van (well last year really but, only got 305mls on the clock now) and I spec'd a medeia system for it and it has come with a system by Zenec!! never heard of it before. However, it does have the facility to input whether you are a car, van upto 3.5t, upto 7.5t and HGV, we have yet to see if it all works so the jury is still out. I don't know system the satnav works off, if anyone knows or has experience of it let me know.

Hi there! Love your videos, they’re so helpful, thank you for all the time and energy you put into them. Are you members of the National Trust? We’ve looked into becoming members so many times but they don’t seem to allow dogs beyond the car park in quite a few places. Just wondered, if you are members, do you find it really useful? Thanks again 👍🏻
@BobEarnshawMoHo5 жыл бұрын
Yes we are members, and Kedleston Hall would have cost £8 each just to walk around, but free for us. There are plenty of places to take the dogs, plus you save on car parking. Also, we are helping to preserve these historic places. Thanks for watching!

Bob Earnshaw Thank you - think we’ll have to look into membership again 👍🏻

Have you considered the Garmin or TomTom alternative sat navs with vehicle identity & camp site POI's? We would'nt be without our Garmin.
@BobEarnshawMoHo5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I will be looking for a change sooner or later on the sat nav front.
@johnvickers57505 жыл бұрын
Should've said ours is the Avtex C&MC garmin one. The Garmin camper & Tomtom go camper versions are around £300 mark at the moment.
@Trevor.Adams6405 жыл бұрын
It’s actually pronounced Keddle - ston (as in kettle or peddle).

Carsington is a lovely site. Not sure about your subliminal adverts for it in the video though Bob, guess you've not had enough time to edit the video to your usual quality. We still watch them all though. Thanks.

Some sort of KZbin issue!
@TorkG85 жыл бұрын
@Bob Earnshaw - I didn't see any unusual adverts in the video. I use Chrome but also have AdBlock.
@BobEarnshawMoHo5 жыл бұрын
@@TorkG8 it wasn't an advert, just my title screen appearing at random. Do you know that when you use an ad blocker that creators like me, receive no money at all?
@TorkG85 жыл бұрын
No, Bob. I was unaware of that. I can deactivate it for KZbin. Thanks for letting me know.

Seems like the Bailey Autograph is slowly growing on you. Just a note for you......the tv point next to the external 13 amp socket is a TV INPUT s type connector, ( but NOT satellite), as explained to me by Bailey. This feeds into the signal unit usually mounted in the wardrobe, next to the status aerial. Enjoy the loan guys. Safe travels.
@BobEarnshawMoHo5 жыл бұрын
Yes, we do like this van a lot. I initially thought it was a connection for an aerial TV booster cable. But looking at it, the connection outside on this Motorhome is actually a output to an outside TV to use perhaps in an awning, it was same on my friend Glyn's Bailey Unicorn Cadiz. There are 3 TV points on this Autograph, one in the lounge, one in the bedroom and one outside. Glyn changed his outside one so it became a TV booster cable input.
