Thanks been to Copenhagen some years ago and are leaving again in three weeks. Good to refresh my memory, particularly about the train lines to Sweden and where to get tickets.

A good Copenhagen airport arrivals tour. The hall after disembarkation looked cool with arts and the flooring as well. Enjoyed the short arrivals airport tour and have a good rest of your day.

Glad you enjoyed it Japjot! We also liked the arty arrivals hall! It was nice to get back home after this particular trip because we had been ill throughout that holiday. Have a good day and week ahead! :-D

Thanks for doing this! One important note for people from outside Copenhagen is that the fare for the Regional train or the Metro to Copenhagen is based on distance, or zones passed through. Therefore the fare is the same into the center of Copenhagen regardless of what mode you chose. And if the trip is continuous, you may also be able to use a bus right to your actual destination.

As I will be coming to Copenhagen in October 22 for a few days before my Baltic cruise I found this video really useful. Planning to stay in a hotel close to Central Station so being able to take the train will save some cash over a taxi! Many thanks, stay safe and looking forward to seeing some new videos soon 😁
@TravellerYT4 жыл бұрын
Hi there Philip, nice hearing from you again and good to know that this video will be helpful for your arrival in Copenhagen, a Baltic Cruise sounds splendid!! We always try to use the public transport rather than taxis as you do save a lot of money and sometimes within a city the public transport (trains) are faster than taxis that get stuck in traffic! Thanks for watching, more videos are on the way. Have a good Sunday :-D

Thanks for sharing. Do you remember how long it took to que and get out of immigration? I am going to fly from BKK to CPH then take another flight to Nice. I wonder if 3 hours is enough to get off the plane, passing thru immigration, collecting luggage and check-in at SAS counter 40 minutes before flight time.

Will actually be flying to Billund on 6th December to be with my Girlfriend for Christmas. Flying from Heathrow to Amsterdam and then onto Billund, a lot of forms to be filled out for be allowed entry as well as a negative Covid test within 72 hours of arrival. Will be a time of many firsts, first time flying from Heathrow, first time flying with KLM, first time of actually having to get a connecting flight as well as flying to Amsterdam for the first time. And then to top it all off, celebrating Christmas on the 24th. So many firsts

Love the fact that you took the stairs instead of the escalators even though you were ill! Best of luck for your next tour, wherever and whenever it may be. (That baggage reclaim area sounded like an animal shelter 😂).
@TravellerYT4 жыл бұрын
It did sound like an animal shelter didn´t it? The happy barks (happy we think) really put a smile to our faces! Taking the stairs healthy or ill always gives the body a good stretch after a long flight! We are just finishing cancelling the last trip for 2020 and so not have plans to book anything until there is more stability. Restrictions can come from one day to the other in current conditions. Hopefully with the new "promising" vaccinations they are talking about, normal life will begin to return for us all during 2021! Have a good Sunday and as always a big thanks for watching our videos and for your nice comments! Kind Greetings from Copenhagen :-D

I'll be arriving from New York in May. Looks to me like if you are trying to get to Copenhagen's Central Station, one can take either the train or metro, but if you take the metro, you have to change lines at Kongens' Nytorv. Whereas with the train, no change of line is needed.

Very nice video and beautiful airport. Regarding the Öresundståg it goes to Gothenburg Kalmar and Kalrksrona via Malmö. Whats so unique of this train is the language changes. Wehn you arrive i nDenmark it changes to Danish the announcement you can really spot the difference between Danish and Swedish. As a an intermediate Swedish speaker I can get alittle through with Danish :). Its very unfortunate you guys cannot make more videos due to Corona. I hope you guys fly emirates in the future.

Hi there Jonathan, thanks for watching! We have actually almost finished cancelling the final Trip for 2020 (it has been a year of cancellations rather than experiences). As the world situation with regulations etc. can change from one day to the other at the present time we have decided not to make any plans or bookings for the time being. That said, we have plenty of our travel footage still waiting to be edited and uploaded to our channel (plenty of Trip Reports too). Have a good Sunday! Greetings to you from Copenhagen :-D

If the Philippine government lifts the travel restrictions, I think Manila should be your one of your first (if not the first) long haul destinations in a long time because I've always wanted to see videos of you in the Philippines one day. And FYI, if you are looking for tickets to fly there you may choose to fly KLM via Amsterdam and Taipei, or if not Middle Eastern airlines such as Emirates are always available for you.

Wearing a mask/face covering is mandatory @CPH nowadays, at least since July’20. Social distancing as well. People are told not to stand around the arrival exit door. Police personnel are there to advise people also to cover their nose, not just mouth.

@TravellerYT4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting! Metro prices depend on where in the Copenhagen Area you are going. We are not sure of the ticket costs from Copenhagen Airport to the Copenhagen City Centre as we have Monthly Public Transport Tickets. Normally when we have to pay for a ticket the minimum price for our journey is around 17 Danish Kroner (approximately USD 2.70).

Question, does everyone has to go through immigration or just Danish citizens? Cuz I'm planning see my fiance in couple of weeks from Toronto, just wondering does this apply to everyone ( you guessed it right, it's my first time flying out, last when I was kid with my parents lol)?
@TravellerYT4 жыл бұрын
Perhaps we are misunderstanding your question but, we are pretty much sure that if a Dane has to pass Immigration to enter Denmark then all foreign nationals would too ;-) In August we travelled during the coronavirus and even though we were returning to Denmark from Greece (an EU country) everybody had to pass through Immigration. Safe travels!
