Dubai Airport is my favorite One.. I have flown almost every year since 2004. It's 20 years of airport experience. DXB is the best in the world. Terminal 3 Concourse C has been my favorite since 2004.

I'll be transiting through DXB for the first time in about 7-8 years in June so really appreciated this video. I agree with you Maxi that the airport is overrated. I do think it's a good airport, but there are others which are so much better such as Changi and Doha. Looking forward to seeing your trip reports onboard Emirates.

Dubai is not my favourite airport as well. I´ve flown with emirates quite a bit , last years more with Etihad though. Etihad´s old main Airport in Abu Dhabi was horrible (no seating space, old, very crowded, no cooling), but the new main airport they opened two years ago ? is quite impressive. I really like that one. Would recommend checking that one out if you can !

Hello Maxi and Maro, very nice transfer video of Dubai International Airport Terminal 3. Similarly, I also did the transfer at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 back in September 2024. It was a different transfer from the arrival Concourse C to the departure Concourse A, that I took the bus instead of train shuttle. I'm eagerly waiting for the Emirates trip-reports soon. The local currency of UAE is Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED).

Great video 😊. Been to DXB twice and it’s an amazing airport, but yeah with some long walks. Didn’t have same issues like you guys did, finding the gates. Maybe I was lucky, I don’t know 😁. Anyway looking forward to the flight report, and have a good one 🙂👍

Glad to hear you enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing your experiences :-D I (Maxi) might have judged the airport based on our outgoing Transfer at Dubai - we went through an older part of the airport (I also mention that this terminal was nicer than the other one we walked through). Will share the other video in the future, this Transfer was better than that but we would still prefer Doha. We are looking forward to sharing the Emirates Trip Report sometime in January. Hope you had an amazing month in Cape Town and you had a safe journey home. I travelled through Dubai Airport about two weeks ago and I can agree that the airport is very overrated. We were staying in Dubai and not continuing on anywhere else. I found emirates to be overrated as well and not any better than BA, KLM or Lufthansa. Did you find that the journey from Europe to Cape Town took longer by going through Dubai as opposed to a European hub such as Amsterdam or Frankfurt? In your experience, do you find Emirates or Qatar to be better? Thanks 🙂

I also think that if you had a short connection in Dubai, you'd be in a hurry for your next flight. A relative of mine was transiting through on their way back from CPT to Dublin on a 1.5 hour connection and they were running for the flight.
