ARRIVING AT Stonehaven Caravan & Motorhome Club Site |

We stay on our first caravan and motorhome club site at Stonehaven. We have never been to this area before, the campsite was right next to the seafront and within walking distance to the town and more importantly fish & chips and ice cream. I take you on a brief tour of the campsite and we go for a walk along the sea wall and watch the waves crashing in. A big thank you to the campsite warden for coming to our rescue and giving us a hose connection to fit their rather large tap fitting.

This campervan allows us the freedom of travelling in all seasons, we actually do most of our travelling in the Autumn/Winter as I have lupus disease | SLE | We stay on campsites & caravan touring parks, Aires & wild camp out in nature. We like to walk | hike with our cocker spaniel dog "Charlie" taking in breathtaking scenery of the countryside and the coast. There is something so magical about driving through the mountains and tourist areas in a campervan. Buying local produce to take back and cook in the campervan, or stopping at an independent shop for coffee and cake helping to support the local economy. Lovely. We have not used the site or parked up in Stonehaven. The Castle down the road is the closest. We have a bag of various adaptors for taps etc. but they still manage to come out with another one.

Those waves were amazing, I'd love to have been there then. Somewhere we've not visited yet. I haven't even bought a hose yet for the campervan, nevermind all the ends!

The waves were great to watch & we ended up filming way too much of them 😂 and then had to cut it down 🤭 The noise from the sea as it dragged the pebbles in and out was incredible. I’m glad we didn’t park on the front as the path was full of pebbles thrown up 😵‍💫 We’ve just bought a new flat hose, it seems to be easier to wind in & takes up less space. Hope you’re doing ok? fun stuff em! what a cloudy day on the beach, but love the waves. i, too, would just sit and watch them. i just ate, but now i want fish and chips with tartar sauce (and vinegar, cuz yum). i've always wanted to see the northern lights. one day! 👍 🛴❤

Hello to you both and Charlie hope your all ok sorry I haven't been in touch lately our family been going through a very big rough patch at the min if you remember I broke me leg last year well it's still not healed and worst part is got to have another operation to put a cage on and that will be on for a year and then my dad's Mrs has cancer and just lost a friend to cancer to and found out today that me wife has this infection in the body that's impossible to get rid of as there is no cure but can turn into cancer so keeping close eye on her but I'm catching up very slowly again butt may fall behind again with everything going on well you all take care all the best just though I would let you know we are still here watching lol.

Stonehaven is yet another of those places we've driven through but haven't stopped at. It is on the list for my east of Scotland tour. Was £31 the club member's price?
