Never been there as we usually go to Keswick, or Derwent water. We stayed at Hawes for both Christmas and new year because of the dogs and fireworks. But we will be visiting this year.

We Visited Lidalia Caravan Park, in Newcastleton on the Scottish Borders not too far away from where you were in Troutbeck hope you had a good new year and looking forward to more of your videos in the new year.

Was really relieved to see you post new videos .. was worried you'd taken unwell. You both are so knowledgeable .. I'm thinking of getting a GoPro10 .. have never done a video VLOG in my life so may need some counselling! @@BobEarnshawMoHo Super .. there aren't any CMC sites in NI there's a CL site called Drumheggles (I've not stayed on it but it's beside a river and I believe there are trees (there's a video). I highly recommend Ballyness and there's a community (dog friendly) bus which can drop you off at some of the key places near the Giant's Causeway. The scenery is lovely on the North Coast. If you come off the boat at Larne you could take the Antrim Coast Road which has stunning scenery but there are some very narrow bits which if you're bringing the car would be better done with the car. You could from the North Antrim Coast Ballyness (Bushmills) go into Co Donegal in Republic of Ireland and go down the West Coast of Ireland and then come back up into NI and stay at the Camping and Caravan Club site (Delamont) approx 35/40 mins from Belfast City Centre and Titanic but maybe 20 mins or so from the Ulster Aviation Society at Maze. If there's a way you can contact me on Messenger on Facebook I can get you my email and mobile number and if you need me to Poppy and Tara sit I'd be very happy to make arrangements to met up. There's a fabulous Norman Castle (Carrickfergus Castle) approx 6 mins from where I live .. I don't think it's dog friendly but there's a lovely walk along the Marine Highway (main road). I know you're both very well travelled but it would be so nice to be able to help you maximise your time here in NI .. you've both helped so many of us :)

It's great to see you back because I love watching your video's. I wish both of you and the dog's a Very Happy New Year. I couldn't believe the firework noise last night. I looked out of the window over towards Luton. The sky was red and the noise was like being in a war zone. It was the loudest I've ever experienced and I wasn't even close to it. The dogs went mad and it made me wish I had gone away too.

Your flooding story reminds me of being with friends and taking my dads car to a car wash and realising that our feet we’re getting very wet. There was nothing we could until the car wash finished and on opening the doors the water flooded out. I had to borrow a load of rags from the garage to bail out the car. I think it was a Hillman Minx with the same drain hole problems. Took me back. Happy New Year.

I think they are an excellent, if expensive idea. Would save a lot of time on uneven pitches and stop the motorhome moving about in the wind or in use.

Happy New Year - look forward to the 2022 videos. The steering locking on the UP when you moved off must have been a bit scary. Could that happen on the open road? What happens if you forget to switch the Tow-A-Frame unit on or forget to switch it off after unhitching?

It only happens when I'm setting off, before the A Frame arms have locked in place. The unit that I switch on controls the car's brakes and if I forget that, the motorhome would do all the braking, I soon notice it if I forget to switch it on. That is why I need to use a checklist! If I forget to switch it off, as soon as I drive the car, the brakes come on.

Hi bob was on a tow car site they were talking about A frame towing ,while towing with an A frame it’s classed as a trailer and only insured up to a £1000 could I ask you to clarify towing with an A frame and what insurance you use for your car , hope this is not to personal but a very interesting subject, could you please help a lot of people out thank you

The car is insured as third party only when towing. I use Safeguard for both the motorhome and Car.
