Had a mini-heart attack for you guys when you arrived but your bags didn't at first. 😂 When we first moved to Hanoi, our bags didnt arrive. Our whole lives were in those two suitcases. Us not knowing Vietnamese and the help desk not knowing English certainly made things..interesting. Hahaha. They ended up finding and delivering our stuff a few days later. 😅 Can't wait to see more of your Vietnam exploration!

Thanks so much! 🤗 We’re glad you enjoyed. When in Thailand, anything you buy in a retail shop qualifies for a VAT refund. Typically, each shop will have a minimum spend, say ฿2000, and if you spend over that amount, you ask the shop for VAT refund paperwork. They will ask for your passport (so it’s always good to keep that on you when shopping at malls) and fill out some forms for you. You then bring that with you to the airport. Before going through security, you will need to stop by the VAT check point and have them verify and stamp the paperwork. Then, once you’re through security, there will be a place where you submit the paperwork for your cash refund. Hope this helps!

It's Saigon Ho Chi Minh City is the invasion name when the Communist came to South Vietnam on 30 July 1975 and took over it. It always be Saigon to me and the flag should be Yellow background with 3 red stripes in the middle not the Communist flag.
