Hi Rob and Lynn a great video as ever and can’t say I’m surprised with Wetherspoons at airport I’ve always been underwhelmed and have heard much about Ryanair but glad you are there safely! wow what a beautiful place I’ve heard a little about Krakow from a polish lady I work with and would definitely be my kind of place so much history and culture! Hope you get to try polish dumplings whilst you are there they are amazing and that bread bowl soup and goulash looked wonderful hope you also tried some polish cherry brandy! Hi Daniel, thank you, it, like we said wasn’t the best, Ryanair, is what it is, but from what I’ve heard all short haul flights are like this nowadays. Krakow is simply stunning, it’s 100% worth going to. You will have to watch the rest of the videos to see if we try the dumplings ☺️ And sadly we don’t try the cherry brandy, but I’m sure we will return at some point so never say never ☺️ Take care ☺️

I live in Birmingham for 19 years and I’m planning to move back to Poland. In 2-3 years. With every year Birmingham looks worse and worse so I’m not surprise you like Poland. Clean, safe, cheaper, no ghettos. Easy to buy piece of land where you want (for people with Polish passports at the moment I think) . I’ll be not surprised if in few years after retirement brits will start to move to Poland.

actually Poland is quite expensive to live in. Prices are just slightly lower then in Ireland, but salaries are over two times lower.

22:03 St. Wojciech church. The oldest in Kraków and one of the oldest in entire Poland. Build at the end of X century. If you come close, you will see the old entrance under street level with ancient stairs with portal that was often used by first Polish kings of Piast dynasty.

When we went to krakow we got the local service bus to the camps. Dead easy and really cheap bought tickets at the entry into camp.x

You’d be surprised at how busy airports are at all sorts of times and days. Before I retired I worked at Gatwick airport as an engineer for Virgin Atlantic, the terminal building was busy 24 hours a day 365 days a year, even Christmas Day. We normally only had three or four flights on Christmas Day, one Jumbo would be going to Orlando Florida that one would be at least three quarters full. The other Jumbos would be going to the Caribbean and would be at least two thirds full, our Jumbos (747’s) had 468 seats on them. Several other airlines all operated on Christmas Day, we weren’t the only ones working. First day in Krakow and you’ve been fare dodging! Krakow looks like a nice place for a visit, loads of good looking buildings. Enjoy your trip.

It must be around 8 years since I was in Krackow, beautiful city. Probably too late for you but don’t book through the hotel for Auschwitz go to the bus station and you can get a bus from there - a lot cheaper. Schindlers factory is great and worth the visit as is the Salt mines - unless you are claustrophobic 😊 you can get a local bus to the salt mines. You can buy bus and tram tickets from little kiosks dotted about. Hope it stays dry and you have a great time.

What a symaptic pair of Englishmen. I'm so glad you guys are enjoying Krakow, trying Polish food, and not just ordering fish and chips. Kraków is not only Auschwitz and Kazimierz but many other places and attractions: go and see the Wawel Royal Castle and its museums, go and visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, walk along the Vistula River, go to one of the mounds to see the view of Kakowa (e.g. the Kościuszko Mound), go to the Jazz Club to listen to music or to one of many cafes for coffee or tea and a delicious Polish cake or doughnuts, drop into one of the many bars for a drink (in the hotel prices for drinks are really out of space), walk around Krakow and visit churches to see their interiors, On the first floor of the Cloth Hall, there is the 19th century Polish Art Gallery and the Szał café, which offers one of the best views of the Market Square from its terrace, go to the Zakrzówek reservoir or to Nowa Huta - a district specially built by the communists and you can see what socialist-realist architecture looked like there, go to see the Benedictine Monastery in Tyniec or buy a trip to e.g. Zakopane to see the Polish mountains. In Krakow alone, there are more than 50 different museums. You can go to Ojcowski Park Narodowy, Dolinki Krakowskie, Lanckorona and Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Niepołomice and Tarnów.

About 10 yrs ago I was in Gliwice Poland with work, A pint beer was 1 Zloty and we booked a taxi to Auschwitz took 1hr-15 to get there, Taxi's waited for over 2 hrs and we had a guided tour total cost each 15 Zloty's god how the price's have gone up, Have good time guys.

Our Wetherspoons food at the airport was not nice. I nearly fainted on Ryan Air and the staff were brilliant but very basic plane. The squares on the continent are brilliant with superb architecture.
