Thank you very much for making this video! It is such a thorough step-by-step guide on what to do upon arriving in Seoul which I have been worrying about for weeks. I like that you showed and explained exactly what to do. Even showing exchanging trains from AREX to subway train. I am planning to travel alone to Seoul for a 2-week holiday.

I’m leaving for Seoul on April 29 arriving April 30th. I wish I could have tagged along with you guys and get use to the trains, subway and buses. I usually Uber or walk. This will be my first solo adventure at 71 years old.

4:42 From what I remember when I visited Seoul in 2016, the all-stop train is about 10 minutes slower, since the acceleration and deceleration of additional stops slow it down; but I didn't think it was worth double the price to get on the express train, and the all-stop train is quite affordable comparing with other metro fares.

Thank you so much for this video! Traveling to Korea soon and was worried about getting lost in the airport and the transit system but it seems more straightforward than I thought.

Thank you for this very thorough arrival video! Those T-Money vending machines looked easy to use. I saw some other travellers (on another channel) struggle a bit with the language barrier to purchase a card from a machine at one of the stations somewhere in Seoul - gave me a bit of anxiety. Anyone know if they have the same type of vending machines at Gimpo airport (I'll be flying into Gimpo)?

If you are staying more than a week. The cheapest accommodation is called "go shi won" lots students ' constrution worker lives here. It's more like a dormitory, but each person has a room with a shower booth. The price is 42man won for 1 month. Which around less the 400 USD. It's located in Seoul.
@Steve-Owens Жыл бұрын
I believe they are mostly single dorm rooms.. ? Thank you
@맛집전문가 Жыл бұрын
@Steve-Owens they have a double dormitory, too. If you are interested in this accommodation I can send you pictures. It's very clean and close to the subway.

Oh, I'll not recommend it for foreigners... There is a reason why they are cheap.

@user-ys6mg3yz8t what are you talking about? It's a perfect place just to sleep. Go shi won was not recommended 20 years ago. Nowadays, all the facilities are brand-new.

Greetings--when filling out the arrival card, do you need to write the Korean address? or can you write the translated address? Also, when/how did you get the Korean cash in order to top-up the T-Money card? Thank you in advance.
