It's a freaking RC car, and it's targeted toward Adults with money. RC cars were never targeted toward kids. It's a skate park basher hence all the skid plates. It's nothing like the granite this has a ladder frame like a monster truck it just doesn't have 4 links.

Very interesting. Senton & grantie had a baby. the bottom battery tray was cool idea so no need to remove body. Ez to get to spur gear and oil shocks are plus. The bumpers look sweet 👍 the colors are very nice. 2wd truck can still be lots of fun. $140 price tag 😳 this is a must buy. I can’t wait to see the aftermarket parts for this. And I can’t wait to pick one up and bash it. Looking forward to more videos of it bashing.

I got really excited at first glance as I'm on the lookout for a well priced 2WD 1/10 MT at the moment, then I saw where the motor is mounted with its wires exposed on the lower left side of the trucks chassis, just waiting to be snagged on something. I think I'll stick to my 6s Notorious for bashing around the skate park until something better in the 1/10 sector comes along, even if the 1/8 Notorious is a bit big for where I usually go.

I got an all-metal-geared, 1/10 scale, 4wd trophy truck to race for less than that. There are just better deals my guy, and Arrma is making a mistake.

@@truerc The stampede is HORRIBLE. It's cheap 1990s era plastic drivetrain and gutless motor system made me want to rage as a kid. I had that one and the 2010s Rustler, and each one was horrendous to keep running. Traxxas needs to just focus forward with metal drivetrains and better electronics. Their 4x4 slash that I own is nearly indestructible (just add RPM), and much easier to work on. Heck even the mini Revo is more of a joy to own than the 30 year old sluggish dinosaur that is the Stampede. There is a reason that their Magnum 272 transmission has taken off: the stock one that this series comes with is dogmeat. I don't hate traxxas for the record, I just hate dated ideas that companies use for a cheap buck. Not a good strat, especially with those of us who've been in the hobby for 20 years.
