I just bought one and am loving it. My first Kraton as well although I also own a Talion exb which to date, is the hands down best RC I have ever driven. I like it so much that I was close to purchasing one of the last remaining brand new Talion exb's being offered online from a store in Alaska. Last minute I decided in favor of the new Kraton and definitely feel I made the right choice. Over the past two years or so I have owned a large number of different rc vechiles, many of which I have gotten rid of mainly through trade-ins at local hobby shops. Literally the only brand that has never disappointed me has been Arrma. I bought quite a few Traxxas vechiles this past year and only ended up keeping one of them, the Traxxas Maxx. Nearly every one of them had an issue right out of the box. Everything from faulty receivers, to faulty motors and esc's. Other manufactures such as Team Corally produce obviously inferior products. Comparing the Muraco to the Talion is almost comical in terms of parts quality. The Xrt that I owned was one of the vechiles that had a faulty receiver right out of the box. In addition to a loud clicking noise which I never got to the bottom of. Never have I experienced these issues with Arrma or any Horizon products for that matter so moving forward my purchases will only be from Arrma and Horizon. You make the best vechiles money can buy and they bring me great joy and stress relief from my demanding job. Keep up the great work!

EXB became RTR. Thats pretty much it. Improved electronics. Whatever that means. Flaws and durability issues seem to not have been tackled. If you have or had the old EXB rollers expect a similar experience. Unless when the giga site work im proven wrong

The model now comes without stabiliser bars. My Kraton arrived today and the stabiliser bars are now only optional and have to be bought separately if you want them. On the EXB Roller they were still included from the factory.

If you read this ARRMA, something needs to be done about the 6s line bearings, especially the rear inner hub ones, they always fail in dirty conditions because the gap in the drive cups lets in an absurd amount of dust in to the hubs gather and spin around, tried numerous sealed bearings and they never last long, someone on the ARRMA forums found some rear drive parts off a Team Durango DEX8 (which the Arrma Typhon uses most parts from) that solves this issue somewhat, would be cool if there was a way to implement that..

No 8s heavy rigs are made for concrete skate park bashing. The lighter 6s rigs are better for that. Skate parks will break parts on any model, nature of huge air and solid concrete.

Upgraded the diffs and now the only thing is the driveshafts they snap every like 10 runs. if i upgrade them it will never break again

This is my own personal experience with a Kraton 8S EXB, but I firmly believe the issues people complain about are completely blown out of proportion. I’ve ran almost 70 packs through mine and the only thing I’ve broken are two drive shaft pins at the 60 packs range.

Land any 8s heavy model on cement from 10+ feet and stuff will break. That’s the nature of physics lol. I’ve broken parts many times on the xmaxx as well, nature of the hobby and you learn the limits pretty quick. Want to do big air, the lighter 6s models are the go to, want the heavy rig experience tearing up the dirt, go for the heavier 8s’s
