In my opinion, one of the best rc cars EVER. I have one that has never been driven. I'm hoping it's worth some money some day. I swore I would never buy a Traxxas again after the law suit.

Pretty cool! Balancing RC cars wheels and tires makes them run so much better for sure I always balance mine. It runs great ..and I agree about the hero 8 don't hit that sucker!

I think the foams in these tires are toast. I’ll run the Fazon on my Kraton Minokowa tires next time. And yeah, Hero8 will always be a on me camera. Not in the line of fire. I must say though, it’s picture quality and sound was noticeably better than the 7.

Shen RC just bug fixes. I’ve updated. The ground footage you see here is a Hero 7 fw1.9 at 2.7K 60FPS Wide and protune on.

Nice trade for you! Just a few tips! Always roll with no power when changing The diff locks. And when you get them working, try running with center locked to reduce balooning! And dont pin it whit all diffs locket, it Will chatter driveshaft pinns! Have fin with an awesome rig!

I do want to get it cleaned and get all the diff locks working. And balanced tires.. Still drive it, but keep it nice trying not to break it.

@@netcruzer I think the version without the diffbrains is highly better because it's no crawler at all. But that's just my opinion :) very unicorn car though and there aren't really much fazon used to buy at all, now of today there are only 2 at eBay kleinanzeigen which could be the pondon to Craigslist if I get that right ^^ both of them still for more bucks in it than a arrma kraton 4s new!

ParRagon - Diff lock is useful when bashing especially the Center lock. Allows you to use full throttle without ballooning all the power to the front.

@@netcruzer maybe, but comparing the need to lock or unlock the center diff to having it static with silicone oil for me is a price question when the brain fails. I heard of many fazon where the lock failed within few sessions of driving so don't know how long it will last

Gotta put those src terrain crushers on that john. They are great for on road. Not so much for offroad. I love that truck John! Great score.

Idk man maybe you'll like yours, but I bought a super cherry one a couple weeks ago and sold it already I hated the way it bashed I hated the diff brain thing I feel like it didn't handle good cause of that then I changed the servo and took like a hour and a half lol then I was really done haha I sold it for a 500 plus a 3XLE on top Wich is a beast truck

Excellent rip. As badly as those tires were maintained they make this kit sound amazing. Sounded like a 3D helicopter😂 I'm running the Katars from the Tailon on mine. Great alternative. What diff setting did you like most? I tend to gravitate to the the lock center.

I think I'd like center/rear lock .. or center lock.. but seeing how much it balloons all power to the front the center lock is not functioning.

This is the original Fazon. 6S BLX based on the Nero platform that Traxxas sued about. The Fazon sold now is 2WD and on the voltage chassis.

The versions of these one time rigs they were designed by the best in the rc engineering world better yet they were designed to take on the so called magically amazing revo and summit which were both only magical money pits built off a dead platform and once arrma released these series of bad a** rigs they crushed traxxas for a minute until they bought hpi stripped clean the company and the competition so the fire friendly xmaxx had no competition. So as the xmaxx was nearing market the summit and revo were flat and bloated and not selling why because of these amazing rigs. So let's sue arrma for copyright and design infringement blah of course they won who knows why designs are not similar because if arrma had reduced the size of the BlackRock to take on the summit straight it would have killed traxxases hold on the market. And just before arrma was to release a smaller and similarly designed BlackRock it was gone from everywhere I was like heck yeah my price range and I can go through my favorite hobby shop good deal and gone. So traxxas is not a good company yes some Interesting designs though none I will ever buy as a lifetime rc lover. Just when you look at arrma twin vertical plate design it's a design from hpi and the rest of it's set up is unique to its designers who ultimately where bought by traxxas during the hpi purchase and stripped clean of all designs and then traxxas claimed as their own and so arrma is sued by traxxas who now owns this that and the other patent I think is how it played out in court you can read the court transcripts from one of the ,lawsuits.
