I know this vid is old but I just did this to my felony and the felony has gp6 ring and pinion set in rear and gp5 ring and pinion set in front the gp6 rear ring and pinion compensate for the bigger wheel and tires. Thanks Earl

I just put the grippers on my felony...co worker told me I'm going to tear the diff up... because front and rear grippers wheels r the same height...He told me to get a complete diff out of a infraction in my rear of felony, so it will be the same...is that right what he telling me?? Thanks

Felony needs a staggered wheel set up with height the power hobby wheels are the same hight all aroundand work on the limitless and infractions rc cars

Go to horizon hobby site look for your rc car under a search and scroll past everything to the bottom you’ll see a parts list and even the blower up view of part numbers it gives you the teeth count on ring & pinion if I change to a different ring & pinion I find that arrma rc and switch front and back to match there also a math equation but it’s a little complicated as there is several video showing that on KZbin but I use factory arrma differential parts 👍👍infraction wheel wells keep dirt out from scorched Rc in the uk or on eBay sometimes 👍👍

Was it me or was there an audio problems? I was thinking of getting one of those new gps but the shipping times are unbelievable at the moment, still waiting for my fan that I ordered. I have to wait until December for my Felony, the hobby shop informed me yesterday that the distributor has been short changed on the amount of Felony's they received 😭 Hopefully that noise has gone with changing out the front diff 👍😎😀

Im looking for some help: I want to change the rear diff as well to run the same size tires. Could I just get the front ring and pinion and switch the gears out in the rear, or would I have to buy a completly new front diff? Edit: Or what should I do if I want to run the Infraction wheels and tires? Thank you all in advance.

You have to match the front gear set what ever ring and pinion it is 👍👍and it works

I wonder how close arrma got the ratios with the different tire sizes, rolling it on the table with a mark on the outputs of the center diff would be the only way to see if the front or rear pinions are going at slightly different speeds, it wouldn’t really matter much if they were a little different if you kept the center diff but would make a huge difference if you run a center spool. I really like the look of the felony but I don’t know if I want to deal with the tire offset and height difference.

Yes the tire size for me is an issue as well being we won’t have tire for a long time knowing arrma so I tried to cheat it but had a bigger issue at higher speeds idk I feel I might have to have gone bananas build a foam tire soon so I can keep running it 👍👍🔥🔥💯💯💯💯

I believe I saw one tooth difference 16 and 17 but shit who knows we just gonna have to count probably. I thought I liked the difference but it rather have same height all around but deep dish in back.

Just subscribed to your channel. Just a quick question. I just got my infraction. I’m gonna change diff oil in all 3. What would you recommend for bashing/drifting. Local hobby shop said to go higher in front, lower in center and lowest in the rear. For example 100k front/50k center/30 rear. Does that seem right?

Is the infraction/Felony RTR or do we have to bind receiver to the transmitter?

It’s rtr but the controller end points need to be set to get full trigger if not it will get 80 percent in most cases 👍🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯

Yes as Earl said. You need to set steering end points. I had to as well since my Felony did not come fully bound. Quality control missed it. But an easy fix. Then I just binded mines and calibrated. Oh also to mention when you set your end points you can also set your throttle/brake bias. Check your DX3 manual. Have fun!

It would have to be a pinion as well not just the differential and then it will work 👍👍💯💯or buy a complete front differential assembly from Jenny rc online with the housing 👍👍💯💯💯

I haven’t had any rear differential problems just have to keep the stock tires on the felony and it rips 🤛🤛🤛
