This kit is trash - it's poor quality and makes the car look cheap - I took mine off and felt remotse for making holes in the body.. I honestly wish Arrma made something specific for the felony - even for $100

I thought Traxxas light kits that mostly just plug into the ESC are too much work. This? This is next level mess 😅 They do look cool, but super useless.

The lights look cool! Like you were saying, the light isn't very focused and dissipates not very far from the vehicle. Maybe more for looks than function. It seems like if they had provided a little more length with some of the wires, and maybe an umbilical cable of some kind, mounting the body would have been much easier. The Bronco light kit has that nice, single plug, which makes it really convenient.

I got a similar kit a long time ago for my Traxxas UDR. It didn't last long and the front light bar broke in minutes, then the upper light bar broke the following day. I couldn't get my remote to work with my kit. I don't see that happening to your Felony as it won't see the rough terrain that my UDR has. In fact I don't even buy 3D printed parts for any of my RCs as they don't last 20 minutes of use.

yeah most 3d printed parts don't last long. It depends on how they are made and what they do. All of the 3d printed parts that I have made have lasted.

I was gonna do my Felony with that kit because I have it on my E-Revo vxl 2.0 and the only drawback on the E-Revo is if you have a minor impact to the fron or rear….. the printed housings a in my opinion very brittle…. Thanks for sharing ☮️~~~~>out…… 😎👍🏻

Cool video, What a cute cat you have i've got 3 at my house and 2 at my grandparents. Amazing light kit i might get one myself when i get my Felony this summer i hope i also plan to get the same orange color body you have i currently have an XO-1 and i've been loving these 1\7 cars from both Traxxas and Arrma.

This light kit was the worst decision I've made for this car so far. Paid $60 bucks for a pack of jumble, waited like 2 weeks for it to ship(i live 3 hours away from ship location.....) sht just jammed in, no info, no directions, seems like its missing parts, didnt get a transmitter or remote. Alsp quality of this kit is garbage. Definitely mad i waisted 60 on it. Was about to install and found this vid for direction and now relizing i think im missing plug ends to.

I just get the full kit from that page, and came everything (all lights and pieces) unessembled, this is going to be a headache..the rear lights is other design. If somebody is going to order this just keep in mind.

Do NOT use a drill. It WILL split. Well worth getting lights, looks great.

The lights are shining through a light defuser. (to eliminate hotspots) The kit is just for looks not late night drift sessions. Perfect for a shelf car

Good install I just used a 9 volt battery with hook an loop on the body way easier

Hello, I just wanted to see how the lights are holding up. I know it’s only been a short time, I’m looking to buy a set and concerned about premature failure or the 3D tail lights falling off. I have heard other stating the lights are falling off with the slightest bumps. Just didn’t want to cut up the body and have them fail or fall of. Thanks in advance for your help!

I believe one of the connections you used is for the ESC fan. I could be wrong though. If so watch your esc temps. Nice install video OutsourcedRC👍
