Put a little strip of flexible plastic on the inside of your body where it rubs. My cars often have rub spots that I have to cover on the inside so I don’t lose all my beautiful paint 🥲

What if you dremeled out some slits on the inner fender wells to let air in?
@integrityrc73563 жыл бұрын
Awesome to see our Traxxas buddy is getting more and more hooked on Arrma. Nevertheless. It sure does help for that bigger unwanted items and not so big surprise damage when you done riding Rubber rize the inner body wells.
@Boogie_the_cat4 ай бұрын
That's unfortunate. I almost got this with my last Scorched Parts order (titanium Ackerman plate, titanium longer screws and nuts for splitter). I don't want huge spots on the body rubbing. I already have that on the front wheel wells. Thanks for showing us your experience with the "upgrade". I just use my air compressor after every run.

@@outsourcedrc well.... I’ve been watching your channel for a while now and immediately am drawn to your enthusiasm for the hobby. You’re very clear on what you like and still kind to products that may not be your favorite. I like that you try new things and you don’t intentionally destroy products just for fun. I get why some channels do that but it make me cringe watching someone smash new rc equipment lol. And you do it on your own with resources you undoubtedly work hard for. So yeah... I really appreciate what you do and how you do it! Keep up the good work!

Buddy I have 3 felony's 3 ..6s infractions 2-3's infractions an 2-vendettas.. it's inevitable you're going to crash if you're not used to the speed I suggest when you get it put the throttle setting on 50% until you get used to it you have 50 75 and 100% if you're wondering why I have so many I have each one set up for a certain application and one is kind of a Frankenstein I'm turning a felony into an off-road vehicle good luck my favorites are the felony the 6s infraction and the 3's infraction is really cool have fun

So actually just got mine in today and I cut them out perfect even though the instructions you need to cut them out a little more than what they say. What happens is if you're running a small tires up front I think you'll be okay I'm running the fatties all the way around, so please don't work that well because of the turning radius of the fat tires. I found that even with the skinny tires up front and the skinny tires in the rear after running it it wasn't that much cleaner so I agree with what you said in the video this is really just for heavy dirt some mud or some water. I ran mine literally for about 20 minutes in the rain today but at home dried it out of the shop back and I'm good to go. So these worth 30 or whatever that they cost? Unless you are really going to be running in the mud which at that point it wouldn't matter anyways then I wouldn't waste your money. Great idea but I think once I get something that fits better and configures better to the different aspects of the car I think it'll be an even better idea once they nailed a little better. No I am going to go back once I have more time and mess with a little more I really don't want to cut my felony body because they're $95, to the left cutting into the body that I have to do is best. So in your video you were talking about in the rear hump how it's hitting the body you have to cut out part of the body if you look on the instructions it shows you that I was not willing to do that so that's another reason why I didn't keep them on.
@oki_m135i3 жыл бұрын
So actually going to edit my comment I'm going to kind of own up to a mistake. I figure out what I did wrong and got the fenders on just fine so I'm probably going to order some more and then possibly another body. But just to clarify once you get everything settled in it everything should fit okay it's just I don't think everything's going to sit perfectly flush but it does look okay from the outside of the body.

I almost pull the trigger on this set. Now, I'm not sure if I want them, since you did make a good point about overheating. How about if we buy a mesh dust guard protection and cover over it? Would that be better or worst? Also did Scorched fix that rear fender and make a ver 2 of it?

I’m intrigued at the thought that it must be more cost effective for them to give you scissors than to pre cut the parts.

Looking at how long it took to trim the inner fenders it's definitely cheaper for Arrma to include scissors. Looks like a PITA to cut out if you ask me.

Figures you would bring these up the day after I put a light set in my FELONY , I WOULD have to move the fender lights to put fender gaurds in , I also installed titanium spark strips on the bottom of the chassis , I got them from scorched parts , gunna be a really cool night time car
